AEW needs someone to step up and have the balls to start telling people no. Bayne comes out with this killer theme. Looks based as hell. Then you've got Penelope Ford like 'look guys I'm Harley Quinn :P' Not even like her own interpretation of the character like others have, but literally just dressed like her. And it makes the whole thing look like a joke. Little things like that just need to be squashed and shut down sometimes. Or I guess they can just keep pissing away Bayne's potential

Not really feeling where things are at right now. Stat feels like a transitional champion just to get the belt onto Mercedes since I guess Toni didn't want to? Now Toni is dropping way down the card to doing tag stuff with MIna as a consolation prize. People seem to be tiring on her altogether anyway. Everyone else is just in this no-story multi-person match match purgatory. Willow should be a star by now. Jamie Hayter feels all but irrelevant since the Owen Hart tournament. Anna Jay went from being built up through that Mariah May feud and match with Mercedes last year just to regress back to tagging with Tay. I miss the days of a compelling story that'd have me wanting to see what happened next

Kind of see the last two PPV of the year ending with Stat d. Mone at Full Gear and Willow d. Mone at Full Gear. It makes by far the most sense and those two should be the ones to beat her.

Ideally putting the belts on a heel for any inaugural is the move. sisters of sin are shit so hopefully not them. mone and athena are already champs so they shouldnt win though they would have been my first pick. bayne and ford should win them desu. but if we are going for a babyface team, tayjay are shit and windsor/riho have only teamed once and dont have chemistry yet so not them. aminata/hayter would be based since they are really good and heavy hitters. their matches would deliver. toni/mina are the most popular team but idk if toni being champ is the move right now. willow/harley are also over but harley sucks.

Thekla will likely play a role in Hayter and Aminata losing in the first round. The Sisters of Sin won't make it very far either. Bayne and Ford/TayJay could go either way.

I don't buy the injury thing considering he announced them and nothing's even come of them yet. They probably got cold feet from the backlash Mercedes was getting and paused things to try again now
