Yes. Part of it was because the mesh on his mask making it harder to see (supposedly; Axiom and other wrestlers with eye mesh never seemed to have had issues seeing though). But most of it is because he was an arrogant shitter who never bothered to try and learn the WWE style or ring or even English so he's trying to do his lucha shit in a ring he's not used to, in a slower style of wrestling he's not used to and against people he can't really communicate with. Then there was the divaish behavior like having a match called off in the middle of it because he dislocated his finger or concussing Alberto during a match which is what effectively got him sent packing back to Mexico.
