A match that on just about any other night would be motn. This match is a deconstruction of everything Seri Yamaoka has done to get to this point as the super rookie. All the expectations are on her to continue to improve and show that she is one of the very best. In a match against one so much like herself, Seri collapses mentally after losing the mat game so many times in a row. It shakes her to the point she flinches away from Chihiro as she attempts a springboard and falling. She can regain some momentum but Hash doesn't allow it. While normally I dislike the 20 count spots, its done really well here. Seri has to show she can continue fighting but is hesitant after all that has happened. Seri very very slowly returns to the ring. Hash continues to cut off her offense immediately until Seri succeeds in a springboard. She gets a little too cocky and calls to the crowd simply too much and Hashimoto decapitates her. An amazing match with godly character work from a 10 month rookie and a vet at the top of the world
