First, there is a 0% chance Cena loses his last match. Like, even WWE isn’t that dumb.

It’ll be long, and there might be shenanigans, lots of false finishes, and it might look like oh golly gosh Cena is taking a beating!… but he will 100% win and I’d bet your entire life savings on it. This is an exhibition. Not a match that’s part of “the story.”

BUT, you still have to book him somebody where a loss doesn’t fuck up their trajectory.

To me, someone from the outside DOES sound like the best idea (Edge, Jericho, etc).

Lesnar would be an outside the box choice, and obviously the most satisfying, but they’d have to figure out how a loss to Cena “impacts” Lesnar’s character in the overall story. You couldn’t just pretend like it didn’t happen and keep marching toward Wrestlemania like Lesner is some sort of unstoppable machine.

The dumbest choice to face Cena would be a young up-and-comer.
