I watch wrestling because I like wrestling. Most of the IWC X accounts exist just to complain about wrestling, which is mentally ill. Wrestling is awesome. And if there's a wrestling promotion you don't enjoy, just don't watch it and watch something else. Hatewatching is a lousy way to spend the short amount of time you have on earth.

Still very much plugged in, post here regularly. Pro-wrestling is more of a meta activity, if that makes sense.

I've only been enjoying the Raw midcard scene and mostly all of NXT (besides the main event scene). Smackdown is fucking horrendous.

I watch NXT, PLEs, and recaps for RAW, Smackdown, and AEW on youtube. So, I guess NXT.

NTA but it sounds like you watch too much. I don't mean that as a criticism but as someone who had that problem as well.
I find that wrestling is always best when I watch when I want to watch it, usually after a little time away from a company (I watch multiple). Catching up on what's going on, where people are, etc. Storylines feel bigger because you're not really following so closely that you know how they're probably going to end - it feels a lot less predictable.
Just watching bigger shows (and the occasional smaller show when you're in the mood) feels like the way to go to me. Watching everything you can just leads to burnout.

I got into AJPW out of curiosity when Kento got the Triple Crown back and Go Shiozaki left NOAH for AJPW because he wasn't happy with the direction NOAH is going. I've been pleasantly surprised. AJPW is pretty fun to watch right now and does pretty good stuff with what they have.

I got into AJPW for a time about 4 or 5 years ago. I like the wrestling style it pushes (much more traditional) and some of the workers are likeable as hell (I was rooting for them during the cross-promotion event a couple years ago even though I hadn't been watching much AJPW anymore at that point).
Biggest problem I had with it was the complete lack of English, which isn't really their fault given they focus on Japanese audiences but it does make it a tad difficult to follow at times. Kento is a hell of an ace and I've been tempted to check back in because Go is great.
