The first segment was definitely the best, but I liked all their matches, too. I think Christian had a blind spot with the Patriarchy shit in that it was nowhere near as good as he thought it was and ended up being the same shit every week when so much more could have been done with it. I don't know whether that was Tony or Christian, but it doesn't matter now since it's over. I will say I'm extremely down on Christian's return overall because nearly the entire thing has been in service to other people -- Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Nick, Shayna, Cope. I enjoyed the "Outwork Everyone" savvy veteran fighting his way up to a title shot. I enjoyed the TNT run. Outside of those two periods, which add up to less than a year when he's been back for damn near 5, it's been a disappointment.
