The state of new japan discourse feels like all the people who originally started watching in the /wooo/ ustream livestreams for g1 22/23 all stopped watching around the naito/kenta iwgp title match, and that what's left over is a bunch of retarded redditors.
this shit is literal fanfic started by podcasters who are worked by the same bullet club war dog retards who want out because the yen is worthless. the fact anyone takes these retards seriously is sad.

I don't care for WWE but I'll always hate AEW even more because at least WWE didn't actively ruin what I enjoyed watching and shove itself down my throat.

Rape in Japan is like saying hello, I doubt that there is a word for "consent" in Japanese.

Wasn't Jericho still with WWF when he debuted at WK in his clown getup or had he already left? Seems like a million years ago. Why would Tana give a shit what TK says since it's not an AEW show? Especially with Tony taking Kenny/Okada/Ospreay away from NJPW. I don't think anyone cried when the Bucks, Page or some of the others left.

The company was fine when "The Elite" left. 2019 was a great year, good enough to pull me back into watching after 15 years of not watching wrestling.
The problem was when Tony started poaching home-built talents. And the rationalization as to why that was okay is, "well, at least WWE didn't get them."
WWE would have never poached all the guys Tony did. They didn't need the talent whereas Tony absolutely did. And these were the talents who were being built for the current point in time, which is why it's been difficult to build solid main eventers the past few years. Takes time to credibly build guys for that spot

Tanahashi shouldn't lose to Nakamura or Okada in his last match. He should put one of the newer stars New Japan is trying to push over.
