AEW fans were left scratching their heads during a recent episode of Collision after a glaring production mistake listed the wrong city for the company’s upcoming show. The November 19, 2025 episode was advertised as taking place in Reading, Pennsylvania—when it’s actually happening in Boston.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer broke down the blunder in real time. Alvarez noted that messages started pouring in from confused viewers who spotted the mistake:
>“They did a thing where they were plugging, you know, the upcoming shows, and they plugged November 19th, which is the Boston show—except they said Reading, Pennsylvania.”
Meltzer explained that the error seemed to come from someone accidentally using outdated information:
>“Apparently what happened—and I don’t know how this happens—last year on that week… that was Reading, Pennsylvania. So somehow last year’s show got in there.”
And then came the punchline that perfectly summed up how the slip-up happened:
>“They Googled last year’s date and copied the wrong info.”
Alvarez added that it was probably a case of someone pulling old data without checking the actual touring schedule:
>“Probably somebody on production was doing the upcoming lineups, and they went to Google and typed in ‘November 19th, Dynamite,’ and last year’s show came up—and they just typed it on the screen.”
The mistake was read on-air by Tony Schiavone, who clearly didn’t realize the error, stating: “November 19th, Reading.” Meltzer confirmed it’s definitely Boston and not Reading, and that the accurate information is readily available:
>“They should have just gone to the Ring of Honor website and looked at the schedule… it’s right there—November 19th, Boston.”
