Grand Zen-Oh, the omni king and ruler of the omniverse has declared there will be a massive tournament to be held in his honor. A grand affair between several universes, each battling it out for the very right to exist. And at the forefront of this grand spectacle will be the Saiyans of Universe 7, who Grand Zen-Oh has grown fond of watching battle. Twenty eight years ago, the Saiyan race were annexed into the PTO as just another race, one of many sent to conquer other worlds. Now, the Saiyans are widely regarded as the strongest warrior race in the entire Seventh Universe, defenders of the PTO led by their strongest, the “Dragon of New Salda” General Karn and his family.

You the players will (most often) control Karn. A man who has grown from his lowly beginnings as a Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733 to become not only the strongest Saiyan of his time at AGE 759, but also personal friend to the former emperor Lord Freeza, father to well over a dozen powerful and unique children, a mentor and teacher to his fellow Saiyans, and the best hope for his universe's continued survival. No one warrior can hope to battle eight other universes' strongest fighters alone and hope to prevail, one man's power and skill won't be enough to overcome the looming threat of extermination. But this coming battle will be the ultimate test of how you've lived your life until now, the choices you made not only for yourself, but for the fate of your entire universe.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Chaya battled the Tuffle menace 'King Kudamo' wielding Raditz' body, and after an intense battle killed both Raditz as well as the Tuffle. Once the battle was finished and the Grand Priest announced that Grand Zen-Oh would be hosting his own tournament, Chaya went to Earth with her mother's guidance, to use their Dragon Balls to save Raditz, his family, and everyone else directly or inadvertently killed by the Tuffle's actions. And as we rejoin Karn, after your sparring match with Freeza came to an end, the former emperor is declared the victor by your wife, who was refereeing the match. The only being present who could hope to interfere between such a powerful pair of combatants, should either of you start to go too far.

“The winner is Lord Freeza!” she declares, the crowd cheering. Your students, having seen both your own incomplete further beyond power as well as Freeza's own, were especially fired up in their cheering. No doubt ready to push themselves, to see just how far they can push themselves when training resumes.
“Yes, yes, I know. While I'm not back for long, just had to remind Karn here to not skip out on his training.” Freeza says smugly, giving you a grin after he'd rung you out after switching his technique. He fought completely differently than you've ever seen him fight, dodging and weaving your attacks then grabbing you and throwing you to the ground when you put the pressure on him close to the ground. Trying to push him back, only to reverse you and send you crashing to the ground instead.

“You won this time, but next time you might not be so fortunate.” you reply with a grin, Freeza turning to you and matching your expression. However, as he does, suddenly you sense something. Two rapidly approaching powerlevels. Turning, you see Bardock of all people, accompanied by a smaller powerlevel fly past, headed towards your home. Where you sense Chaya, Raditz, Haathe, and your crew. Seems he's learned his son's returned.

But what do you do?

“Bardock?” you wonder to yourself, then realizing what could happen you turn to your wife. Who also immediately understands, reaching out to you telepathically.
“I think I should probably go as well.” she thinks to you, a note of worry in her tone. “Just in case. Might need”
“That's probably a good idea.” you reply, also telepathically as your wife raises her right hand to her forehead, vanishing in a blink. Leaving the arena with you and Freeza, teleporting over to Chaya's energy back in your home. Freeza looks from where she was to you, raising a brow in confusion.

“Something going on I should be aware of?” he asks, you shaking your head.
“Just in case things get explosive. After all, Chaya did just kill his son. Sure she brought him back to life, but better to be safe.”
“I see.” he replies, you turning as your granddaughter Meloka Wolbach flies down towards you.

“GRANDPAAA!” she shouts, you bracing yourself and catching her as she slams into your chest. “I didn't think you COULD lose!”
“Everyone can lose, kiddo.” you reply to her, holding her with one hand and ruffling her hair with the other. “There's always someone stronger out there, someone who can best you. Which is why it's important to always keep training. To keep improving.”
“Right!” she replies excitedly a sparkle to her eyes. Seems that she, for now at least, is inspired to keep pushing herself as well.

But what do you do now?

“Speaking of...” you say, voice trailing off as an idea comes to mind. “If you're interested, do you want to come train with your grandpa for a bit?”
“Really?” she asks, eyes widening as she stares up at you. “Really really?”
“Of course, just ask your parents if it's okay-” you start, only for her to rocket out of her arms straight towards your son Chilli, who you can see catch her then share a look with his wife Megumin before turning back and nodding.

“So, taking the granddaughter training, huh? You think she's got what it takes to be the next you?” Freeza asks as you watch her taking off her school robe and clothes, revealing she's wearing her Saiyan armor underneath.
“No, but they don't all have to be me.” you reply, turning back to face the former emperor. “What matters is that they're strong enough. Strong enough to choose their own path, to not be bound to the will of just anyone who would try and make them submit.”
“Hmmmm.” Freeza says as Meloka Wolbach launches herself out of the stands, shooting back down towards you. Landing on the arena floor before you, gazing up expectantly.

“I'm ready!” she shouts, raising both clenched fists up by her head. “I can do this!”
“Haha, then let's go. Come with me.” you tell her, lifting up into the air. She follows along after a moment's effort, you then flying away from the arena back to your home. She follows, you setting an easy pace for her to keep up with as you land just before the landing ramp of your home. As you do, you see a young man walking back down with a rather... Conflicted look on his face. As if he's struggling with something inside him. He sees you both land, eyes narrowing in suspicion a bit.

“General Karn.” the boy, you recognizing as Kakarot, the one who'd flown with Bardock to your home says.
“Kakarot. Everything okay?” you ask, gently probing him.
“Yes. My brother's fine. She and the baby are both okay.” he replies, his scowl fading slightly. “They're both okay...”

A moment of silence passes before he shakes his head, lifting up into the sky and flying off. Meloka Wolbach looks to you in confusion, but you shrug and turn back to the ramp, leading her inside. Taking your granddaughter to your training room, going to the gravity controls. Cranking it far down, to only double New Salda's gravity and turning the chamber on.

The chamber turns on, you barely feeling the pressure increase as you watch your granddaughter.

“W-Woah?! Heavy!” she shouts as the gravity drops her to her hands and knees, your hand hovering over the shutdown.
“You okay, kiddo?” you ask her cautiously. “Do you need me to turn it off?
“N-No! I-! I can do this!” she growls, struggling against the gravity. Then, with a roar forces herself back up to her feet, shouting in triumph. “HAAAAAA! I did it!”

“Today, we're going to do the physical training you do at home. But in this special, gravity-enhanced chamber.” you tell her, your granddaughter nodding. “So, what's first?”
“First? Umm, well, first we start with jumping jacks to warm up! A hundred of them!” she says, gaining confidence as she starts. You match her, going at her pace as you let her take the lead. At first she's enthusiastic, but as she counts past the thirties her pace begins to slow. “Thirty one! Thirty-ah-two! Thir-Three.”

“What's the matter? Not getting tired yet, are we?” you ask, seeing her grit her teeth at your question.
“No! I-I can do this!” she shouts, vigor renewed as she pushes herself. Counting up past the forties, fifties, sixties and seventies without slowing. Yet as she nears the end, once more her pace begins to slow. “Eighty five! Eighty si-six! Ei-seven.”
“Almost there, don't quit now.” you encourage, seeing the passion blazing in her crimson eyes as she powers through. Encouraging her right to the end. “That's it, ninety eight. Ninety nine!”

“ONE HUNDRED!” she exclaims, falling back flat on the ground as she finishes. Gasping for air, her tiny body heaving as she fights for breath. “Haaaaaaaah! Pheeeew! That's so much harder in here, in this gravity.”
“You did good, Meloka Wolbach.” you say, letting her recover as you stretch your arms and legs out. “So, what's next?”
“Next? Oh, right. We're just getting started.” she replies, pushing herself up to her feet, only to get back down on all fours. “Next is one hundred pushups!”

“Let's do it.” you reply, once more following her pace. Going through the pushups, as well as the rest of her daily workout that Chili has her doing. And while, to you, it's nothing. To your granddaughter, for her powerlevel and age, you think it's quite appropriate. And after half an hour she's again laying flat on her back, gasping for air as you turn the gravity chamber off. “Well done kiddo.”
“Th-Thank you.” she gasps out, eyes shut as she focuses on her breathing. But you can see the smile on her face, she clearly appreciated this. “It is. A lot harder. In here, and on your planet. Than back home. In dad's training chamber.”
“I bet. This planet's a little heavier than your home.” you reply, a sudden question coming to mind as you remember he also has a gravity chamber. One you're not entirely sure how he powers, on a planet that doesn't harness electricity. But you assume it comes down to 'its magic'. “Say, what do you usually train at? What gravity are you used to working out in?”

Which it is, you realizing that your son's been training her in New Salda's gravity, and not the gravity native to his planet. Which explains why she's able to move so freely and easily on your planet, it's a gravity she's used to. “Daddy said that I needed to be able to move free on his side of the family's home planet too, and not just on our planet.”
“A good idea.” you answer, making a mental note to check up on the gravity difference between New Salda and his world. “You okay, or do you need another couple of minutes to-?”

“I'm good! I'm just fine!” she replies, springing back up to her feet with youthful energy. “Better than fine, I feel great! So, what's next grandpa?”
“Well-” you start to answer, only to be interrupted by-

-the feeling of the world grinding to a halt. The sounds of your ship, your daughter's face, everything stops as if frozen. As time itself is frozen, you immediately powering up into your Berserker God form. Expanding your ki sense, searching for the source. And you find it a moment before the being appears, its ki appearing. But it's a ki you recognize, easing your power back from ready to shoot as the being begins to appear.

“Relax, Karn, everything's fine.” Kars, the Kai-in-training says as he appears at the far end of the chamber. With you between him and your granddaughter, making a clear statement with where he chooses to appear. “I've just come to congratulate you, and to give you a warning. As well as some information.”

At this he then tosses something small and metallic down onto the ground between you, you recognizing the Time Ring's shape instantly.

“That Zamasu you left to me, well, that creature had quite the trove of intel, if you're interested. As well as its... Other plans.” he says, you feeling your suspicions growing. But, before you can respond, Chilli appears beside you in his Primal form.
“Kars.” he spits, golden aura blazing as he stares down the Kai. No doubt still remembering how he stopped your son from killing that bastard Nabu before, in their first fight. “I knew it was you.”
“Good, and you're here as well. As this information is just as important to you as it is your father. Perhaps even moreso, given your abilities?”

“Dad, what's he talking about?” your son asks you, not taking his gaze from the Kai. And so you explain what happened on the world the Kais were on, how the Zamasu attacked them there too. Trying to kill the Kais of this universe as part of their plan. “So, why're you here?”
“I bring ill tidings. As you battled your son, distracted by his rampage on Planet Namek, another battle raged on. Across the universe, in a place called the Galactic Prison. Where the Galactic Patrol keep a wide array of dangerous beings. But none more threatening that the one put there by the last Grand Supreme Kai. Called the 'Consumer of Worlds', the wizard Moro was a universal threat. A being with the power to completely drain a world of its life energy, rendering it a lifeless husk.”

“Wait, Moro?” you ask, the name sounding familiar. Why does Moro sound so familiar? But then it hits you, your eyes widening. You MET Moro, you've seen that monster with your own eyes before, on a trip with Towa to that place. To make sure it could never escape, she added her own bindings to the spells holding that monster prisoner!

“Yes, that very Moro.” Kars answers, as if reading your mind before continuing. “Grand Supreme Kai managed to seal its magic away and capture the creature. But, with most of his power going to this task, he was no longer strong enough to actually KILL that wizard. And so Moro has been locked away for millions of years, subsisting on only the energy it stole during its rampage, waiting to die. But it would seem that monster is now free.”
“Consumer of Worlds...” Chilli mutters, then shakes his head. “Regardless, we'll kill it as well. Where is this 'Moro'?”

“No, you don't understand. The highest deity short of a Destroyer God confronted that monster, and couldn't kill it. Even Death magic won't stop such a monster, if you could even get the spell off.” Kars answers, you seeing the sudden shock on your son's face. “IF you managed to land the spell, IF he didn't counter or reflect that spell back onto you, and IF it worked, he could simply resist it by absorbing more life energy than the magic can take away. He's survived for more than ten MILLION years on nothing more than the energy he absorbed during his rampage through the Iragi Star System.”
“Iragi system? I've never heard of it.” you reply, confused as Kars turns to you.
“That's because there is no more Iragi Star System. He destroyed it all, consuming all life on the three hundred and twenty planets with life in the system.” Kars says, your eyes widening in shock. Three hundred and twenty planets is quite a lot, if he absorbed every living being's power on that many worlds....

But then another thought comes to mind. By mixing so many different beings' power together, wouldn't that make him a sort of deity too, like Chaya? However, once more as if reading your mind Kars speaks on your thoughts.

“No, he isn't a deity. Eating so many worlds didn't make him a god. Though he might consider himself one, with the power he doubtlessly possesses.” Kars replies, only for Chilli to impatiently interject.
“We're wasting time, we need to stop this monster before it has time to prepare. To stop it now, before it can consume any MORE planets and start to grow in power once more!” your son shouts, clearly ready to fight. But at this Kars shakes his head.
“The moment that monster was freed, it immediately cast magic to obscure all attempts to scry it.” the Kai answers, sounding genuinely frustrated as he continues. “Despite my best efforts, using every trick I know, I cannot find that monster now, not until it makes a move and begins to drain life on a planet somewhere. Only then will I, from the divine realm be able to find him, and get word to you both. Moro cannot be allowed to roam free, he must be captured, if possible, but preferably killed on-sight.”

“So, how was it bound?” Chilli asks Kars. “What was the specifics of the spells the Grand Supreme Kai bound it with? Obviously an anti-magic field, but what else?”

And as the two start discussing complex magical terms you don't understand, from the looks you see on your son's face, he seems to be growing more and more worried by the minute. Going from confident, to cautiously worried, to incredulous.

“That's impossible! He can't possibly do that?!” Chilli shouts after a minute or so, sounding almost more like a question than a statement.
“He can. I've looked through the past, thanks to that little trinket there, and that monster certainly can. I witnessed that battle with my own eyes.” Kars says, a note of awe and fear in his tone as he continues. “The last Kai, Grand Supreme Kai, that guy was a real Kai, a real leader. I think you and he would have gotten along far better than our current sorry waste of Kai blood.”
“Dammit. I'll... I'll have to do some research.” Chilli says, sounding worried. “I'll have to devise a countermeasure, something to stop the Energy Absorption, or perhaps poisoning my energy as he drains it? Something to weaken him from the inside. Or maybe-”

“I'm sure an Archwizard as smart as you will figure something out, as I too am working on a suite of potential countermeasures. And once that demon strikes, we'll be ready.” Kars states, and for just a split-second you feel his power SKYROCKET! Eyes shifting to crimson, hair brightening to pale greyish white before powering back down. His power surged beyond the Rosé power you'd sensed before when he faced Chaya for Grand Zen-Oh's amusement before, whatever this power was, it seems even Kars has been putting in training to reach higher and higher plateaus of power. “I wanted to warn you both of this coming, looming threat. To stay on guard, as that monster won't be bested easily. Whenever that monster makes his move, I shall let you both know immediately, so we can formulate our attack. Unfortunately, using Za Warudo isn't an option, as I tried to confront him myself immediately the moment he was freed. But he was aware of my presence and able to act, even in this Time Stop, and I didn't dare risk a direct confrontation solo. If he absorbed my life energy, it would have been a substantial boost to his powers and worse yet you wouldn't know he's coming and be caught completely unaware.”

“For once, I think cowardice was the right move.” you tell the godling, glancing to your son who nods in agreement. “Better to know that monster's on the loose, so we can be ready and confront him together.”
“I agree. Thank you, Kars. This intel will be invaluable.” your son agrees, Kars nodding to you both.
“Stay on your guard, both of you.” Kars says, and without another word vanishes. The Time Stop ending as he leaves.

“Wha-? Dad? Grandpa?!” Meloka Wolbach asks, you both turning to her and seeing the surprise on her face. “What happened, why are you both transformed? Wait, did... Did time stop?”
“That's right.” Chilli answers her, powering back down and kneeling in front of her, ruffling her hair. “But your Grandpa and I handled it.”
“Really?” she asks, eyes sparkling as she looks from him to you, so you nod in agreement. Chilli then picks his daughter up in his arms, turning to face you.

“Well, looks like it's back to the workshop for me. I need to get to work.” Chilli says to you. “I have a feeling we're going to need it sooner rather than later.”
“I agree. Take care, son. You too kiddo.” you say, reaching out and placing one of your hands on each of their heads. Your son and granddaughter, Chilli's brows furrow as his mind is already working on the problem of Moro, while your granddaughter's focused on your hand on her, beaming at you with a smile.

“Let's get your mother and brother, and go home.” Chilli tells Meloka Wolbach, who nods, then flies out of his arms to you. Giving you a hug.
“Bye Grandpa! Let's train again sometime, that was fun!” she says, squeezing you with all her might.
“I'll be waiting.” you reply, gently hugging her back then letting her go, Meloka Wolbach flying to her father as he raises his right hand to his forehead, and the two vanish. Leaving you all alone in the powered down gravity chamber with one question on your mind as you walk over and scoop up the Time Ring:

What now?

Palming the ring, you immediately raise your other hand to your forehead, searching out Towa's ki. Finding her back inside her lab, teleporting to her side directly. Only to see her at one of her desks, fingers flying over the keys as her gaze is fixed on another monitor.

“I take it you know what happened?” you ask, Towa jumping in her seat as you clearly startle her. Calling the spear to her hand and pointing it at you before recognizing it's you, sighing out as her suddenly tense frame relaxes.
“Dammit, don't sneak up on me like that!” she says, sending the deity-slaying spear Godsend floating back over to its corner, then looking back at you. “What is it?”
“Did... Did you not notice what happened?” you ask her, Towa blinking at you twice in clear confusion. “Time was stopped just a minute ago.”

“Wait, it was?” she asks, sounding alarmed. “What happened?”

And so you tell her everything, Kars' sudden appearance, how the being you'd accompanied her to seal further away, Moro was broken out of prison by the meddling Zamasu and the Tuffle as you'd battled your possessed son. As you tell her what Kars told you, Towa's face pales, eyes widening in fright. And as you finish she falls back into her chair, staring off into nothing.

“Moro is free...” she says, then snaps out of her sudden funk, turning back to her computers and once more begins a typing frenzy. You watching, curious, as she pulls up images and short video of a goat-like man battling Kakarot and Vegeta, as well as other beings you don't recognize. Reading blocks of text in an unfamiliar script along with them, as your eyes focus on the battles that play out. However, one in particular catches your eye. Ginyu, or rather Majin Buu, as in whatever timeline that is your ally hadn't claimed his body battles the goat wizard. But as the two fight, you realize two things immediately. While Kakarot and Vegeta, as well as the fighters you don't recognize were all bested, as you watch Majin Buu continue to pummel that monster. “Dammit, of all the times for this to happen.”

The screen changes, pulling up what seems to be a feed of the same prison cell you remember being with her in, seeing that creature still trapped. But also one of those bastards Zamasu, along with none other than Raditz appear before it. Listening in to their conversation, of how they want to take control of that monster. The Kai using its power to dispel the magic surrounding Moro, binding it as the creature stands up. Only for a burst of static to appear on the screen as Kars appears. Ascending into the same Rosé form like Super Saiyan 3 like Meloka Black used, only to immediately leave as Moro turns to face him. Well, at least he was honest about his cowardice.

“The hell is that moron doing? Why would he confront-?! Right, right, he doesn't know.” Towa says with a sigh, pinching the bridge of her nose. “Dammit. Of course. Of course they wouldn't have warned him how dangerous it was. At least he was smart enough to get out, but now Moro knows we're onto him.”

And as you watch, once freed Moro then turns his gaze to the screen, as if seeing whatever magic Towa crafted to keep an eye on his cell, smirking and pointing to it. Then the feed cuts, as if destroyed as Towa sighs out.

“If Moro's freed, with Instantaneous Movement they could be anywhere. And with the Zamasu as well, could be hiding anywhere across creation. Dammit.” she says, sounding frustrated and annoyed. But then she stops, eyes suddenly going wide. “No, it can't be. Could it?”
“What is it?” you ask as she conjures her scrying orb, peering into it, you step closer and lean in, seeing an unfamiliar scene, yet somehow oddly familiar. As you look at it, you get the feeling you're looking at the world of the Kais once more. Yet it isn't the same one, perhaps she's peering elsewhere? Beneath a large, moss-covered tree sits a large round table, where dozens of Zamasu are sitting together. Not only that, but several of them are different Black warriors as well. And there, among them, sits the hunched figure of Moro. “Moro!?”

“Yes. Seems he's fallen in with quite the crowd.” Towa answers, the goat creature taking a drink, then turning his gaze. Staring directly at you specifically, not Towa as he smirks. Immediately Towa cuts the scrying magic, the orb turning dull as you see her shake. Worried, you turn to her, Towa gently setting the orb down on the table, trembling.
“Are you okay?” you ask her worriedly. “Towa?”
“I-I'm... I'm okay.” she says, focusing on her breathing. Taking a long, slow breath in, holding it a moment then sighing out as a bead of sweat rolls down her face from her left temple to her jaw. “I'm okay. You may not be able to sense it, but that monster's terrifying. I've never felt his magic power from this close before, it rattled me. I don't think I could overpower him.”

Her admission causes you to freeze a moment. If even TOWA, the Demon Goddess who stared down the Supreme Kai of Time Chronoa herself without flinching is scared, it gives you a new appreciation for that monster's power. You've not seen her look this intimidated, this frightened by anyone before.

But what now? What do you do?

Seeing the state she's in you don't say a word, just walking over beside her chair, kneeling down and wrapping your arms around her. Pulling the former Demon Realm princess to you, holding her close. You feel her move closer to you almost instinctively, pressing herself to you, into the perceived safety of your arms as you simply hold her. She takes several deep breaths, you feeling the worry and fears slowly dissipating as she gets herself back under control over the next minute. And just as you're about to let her go, suddenly the door opens.

“Mother, I am-” Koruza says, leaning in. But upon seeing you both he freezes a moment, then backs up. “Whoops, sorry, didn't mean to disturb you two. I'm taking Durah back to Earth, I'll be back this evening.”
“Don't do anything reckless.” Towa answers, the tremble in her voice from earlier gone. Clearly no long afraid, or at least no longer feeling completely overwhelmed as she had been moments ago. She then sighs out, pressing herself close to you for another moment before pulling back. “Thank you, Karn. I needed that.”
“Of course, anytime.” you reply as Towa turns back to her computers, fingers going back to and flying over the keys. “So, do you have a plan?”

“No. But, I will start devising a plan.” she answers you, tone confident. “I'll reach out to Chilli as well, since his mind's no doubt already hard at work. Once we've devised a strategy to take him down, we'll let you know.”
“I appreciate it. If you need my help with anything, let me know Towa.” you tell her, but you're not even sure that she hears you. Back to being as intensely focused on the screens as she was when you first appeared. You leave her to it, heading out the door and back into your home proper.

As you do, you expand your ki sense. Immediately feeling the powerlevels of the group gathered in your ship's Medical Bay, sensing Chaya, Raditz, Bardock, Dr. White, and everyone else gathered there together. Leaving them to it, you expand your ki sense, searching for one ki in particular. Expanding your senses until you find your youngest's ki. Karn Junior is actually just outside, so you make your way out of your home. Turning towards your youngest, seeing him sitting on the sand, the waves washing gently up the beach. Nearly up to his feet, but just short. Elbows on his knees, chin in his hands as he stares out at the ocean. And even from here, you can feel the conflict in your son, his ki all off. Distorted like still waters when someone drops a pebble into it, he's clearly struggling with something. And you have a good idea what that is.

You stop for a moment, staring at him staring out over the water before taking a quiet breath and stepping forward. Walking up to your son, but not confronting him confrontationally. Instead, you walk up beside him, sitting on the sand to his right and also staring out to the sea, watching the sun behind you in the sky catching on the water. You both sit in silence, your son not saying anything as you wait for him to speak. Sensing the conflict in his mind, not pressing him to speak but offering the comfort of your presence and an ear to listen. He stays silent for over a minute, before he begins to speak.

“Dad, have you ever... Lost control?” your son asks, not looking away from the sea. “Have you ever been so angry that you just... Did things? Did things you knew you shouldn't, that you weren't supposed to do? But, in that moment, they feel good?”

A moment of silence hangs between you, your son turning his gaze from the sea only for you to see he's crying, tears in his eyes and streaking down his face.

“Have you ever been so mad that you did things? Things you regret?” your youngest asks you, lip trembling as he fights to stop himself from breaking down fully. But it's not working, you seeing your son's entire body starting to tremble. So, without a word you reach out, wrapping him in your arms and pulling him to your chest. And after holding him for a moment he cries. He stops trying to hold back the tears, sobbing into you as he lets all the emotions he's been fighting with out. Blabbering through the tears, his words unintelligible as you hold him close, gently patting his back as you whisper soothingly to him.
“Shhh, it's okay, I've got you. You're okay, everyone's okay.” you whisper, holding your son to you and wishing you could take this pain from him. “You're all right son, let it out. Let it all out.”

“Really? You-You understand it? You and Okira both?” he asks, you hearing a surge of hope in his tone. “E-Even Broly?”
“Of course.” you reply, casually tapping into the Berserker Soul and ascending straight to your Berserker God form. “When I first used this form's full power against Beerus, I wasn't in control of myself the entire time. Most of the time, actually. A lot of the time I used the power before getting this form I lost control too, completely unable to stop myself from attacking everyone nearby. And now, now we know that your power does the same to you ours does to us, we can help you, son. You're not alone, we all understand.”

At this your son's eyes water once more, but this time he's smiling happily. You reach over, placing your hand on his head and ruffling his hair.

“It's alright, kiddo. We're all here for you, we understand what it's like.” you tell him. “Broly understands too, that's why he didn't hit back when you lost control. He's been where you are, several times.”
“He has? Then, do you think...?” he asks, voice trailing off as he looks to you hopefully.
“I think you should talk to him yourself, junior.” you tell him. “He knows what you've been through, he understands it. And I'm sure he'll forgive you too, if you talk to him.”

“Right!” he exclaims, jumping up to his feet. “I'mma go talk to him right now! Thanks Dad!”
“You're welcome, son.” you say as he takes off, taking off at a sprint towards Broly's ki. You smile, pushing yourself up to your feet and look back out over the water once more before deciding on your next course of action.

With everything going on, there are many people you want to tell of what's happening. But aren't sure who should know, and who needs to know. But the vision you saw of a Majin Buu beating the goat man down keeps playing in your mind, and you know who you have to tell first. If God, Blue, and even Beyond Blue Saiyans can't stop that monster, yet he can, then he needs to be made aware of what's going on. So, with that decided you focus your mind, reaching out telepathically as you look out over the sea.

“Captain Ginyu, can you hear me?” you think out into the void. “We need to talk.”
“General Karn? Good to hear you!” he answers, then without waiting a beat adds. “Hold on just a second, let me get everyone in here.”
“Wait. Before you do, I need to tell you something. If you want to share it with your team, that's your call once you hear it, but a serious threat's escaped.”
“All the more reason to get my men in here.” he replies, you feeling Guldo, Jeice, Burter and Recoome's minds all link up with the both of yours. “Alright General, give us the sitrep, what's going on?”

And so you explain to them everything, Zamasu and the Tuffle freeing Moro, who and what Moro is as well as what it took to seal him away before. Everyone listening without interrupting as you tell them how Kars fled, and how terrified even TOWA seemed by this monster's escape before you get to the part of Towa digging for information. And seeing a version of his body pummeling the monster, and what you'd seen flash across the display. A quote from the Kakarot there, saying that Moro's powers of energy absorption don't work on Majin Buu. You tell the Ginyu Force all this, and in the moments afterwards there's silence across the telepathic link. No one says anything, Captain Ginyu and the boys all digesting this information.

“Thank you for letting me know, General. I'll inform King Cold about this, with everything you gave me and see how he wants to proceed. With that prisoner Moro being evacuated to another universe, if not another timeline entirely will be a problem. But I'm sure we can figure out how to get that monster before it eats too many planets to become a problem.”
“Don't worry, we'll handle that monster.” Recoome adds confidently. “Even if we can't fight him in our bodies, the Captain's got us.”

With everything else you could distract yourself with finished, you turn back to your home. And since you haven't felt any fighting, you doubt that there will be any conflict at this point. But you're curious. Curious if the kid came out okay, if Raditz and Redis' child bears any marks from being merged with and consumed by the Tuffle parasite. So, you decide to head back inside, heading towards your ship. Walking up the ramp, going back inside as you head to the Medical Bay. Walking down the halls, approaching the automatic door which opens. Revealing the scene before you. On the main bed sits Redis, Raditz' newly-revived wife holding a tiny bundle in her arms. The newborn is surprisingly powerful, you'd estimate it to be in the four-digit powerlevel range. Stronger than its grandmother, Gine, sitting in one of the chairs along the wall. Bardock is leaning up against the wall by his wife, watching as Raditz gently strokes the child's head, mid-sentence with Chaya as the door opens.

“-n't have that happen again, I won't-” he starts, freezing as you enter the room. Everyone turns, aside from the baby and Dr. White, who is behind his desk, typing something. Raditz immediately clenches his fists, jaw clenching shut.
“Relax, I'm just coming to make sure you two aren't about to fight.” you say, then add. “Or if you are, to make you take it outside.”
“We're not going to fight. Not today, not anymore.” Raditz says with a tired sigh. “No, we've been talking about the future. About what happens moving forward, for all of us.”

“Oh?” you ask, looking from him to your daughter, to Redis.
“Yes. They want to come home.” Chaya says to you. “With me no longer being crazy, or AS crazy anymore, they want to come back to New Salda.”
“Really? That's good news.” you say to them, turning from Chaya to Raditz. “Glad to have you back.”
“We're only talking about it, nothing's set in stone yet.” he replies, but you can see his surprise at your excitement to see his return. “But with us being so isolated, so out-of-the-way, our family will be at too much risk moving forward. And despite how frequently this place used to be attacked, if we don't stay in either city, we should be safe from the worst of whatever happens in the future.”

“I see. Well, if you need a hand setting anything up, my younger kids did help build this city. They'd be more than happy to help you out.” you reply, Raditz looking unsure how to react to your reply. No one does, aside from Redis who finally speaks up.
“Thank you, General Karn. If we need your help, we'll certainly let you know.” she says, sounding exhausted. You see in her arms the baby looks fine, but then you see its face scrunching up, and know what's about to happen. “But, if you all don't mind, I-I don't think I can keep my eyes open much longer.”

“Shhh, shhh, it's okay Chadani.” Redis coos to the baby, you glancing from it to your daughter, then to Raditz. “You're safe, momma's got you.”

“Of course, let's clear out everyone and let them rest.” you say as she begins to hum softly to the child, turning back to the door. As you do, Bardock and Gine, as well as Chaya and Haathe, who's been quiet this entire time get ready to leave. But Raditz makes no move to leave his wife's side, nor did you really expect him to. And without another word you all exit the Medical Bay as Dr. White puts up a privacy curtain around the bed, giving the newly-expanded family a bit of privacy. The door shuts behind Bardock, the last to leave as the five of you stop in the hallway.

“Thank you. For saving them.” Bardock says suddenly to Chaya, surprising your daughter. “When you killed him, I thought that was it.”
“Sorry I couldn't save him without killing him first.” your daughter replies to the older, scarred warrior. “But it would have put many more lives at risk.”
“I understand.” he tells her, then turns to you, only giving you a shallow nod of acknowledgment. “Karn.”

And without another word turns to leave, Gine nod/bowing to you both before turning and scurrying after Bardock, the two of them heading out of your home. And as they go, your mind is filled with the possibilities and potentials of the future. The good and the bad, the looming threats and the new lives, nothing stays the same for long. But as long as you've still got fight left in you, you'll fight to keep your family, your people, and the PTO safe from whatever threats rear their ugly heads. Be they gods or parasites, machines or men, you'll protect what matters.

And as for clever plans, anything short of the infinite shenanigans machine that is Ginbuu won't work on Jiren. He has final boss plot armor, no ordinary cheese will be enough.

Ok so basically, Zamasu comes from Universe 10. His whole "Kill Ningens, behead Ningens, roundhouse kick a Ningen into the pavement, etc" schtick relies on not getting his shit kicked in by a Destroyer God or their attendants, so he did off the GSK of U10. AGE 759, HYPERBOLIC TIME CHAMBER


“Hrrraaaaaaa!!” your daughter shouts, swinging a heavy right for your head. Which you slip inside with a half-step, dodging the strike and using the movement to build momentum into a left hook to her ribs, under her extended arm. “Khhhh!”
“Sloppy.” you say, voice stern as you follow up with a right uppercut, Chaya taking a step back and dodging your strike. Leaving your own side wide-open, your daughter trying to rush in with a left jab to your own ribs, trying to mirror the damage back you'd just dealt. But you were ready, using the momentum to turn into a Su Ma spin, dodging the blow and retaliating with a spinning back left elbow to her temple. Staggering her to her right, struggling to keep her footing. “Come on, is that all you've got?”

You are Meloka, wife of Karn, mother of your many children you had with your husband and a godly Super Saiyan who has gone even further beyond Super Saiyan God. Yet, for the past three months, after spending the first three getting your daughter to unleash her own latent divinity, no longer relying on her quadrillions of fans across the universe and able to take on both Super Saiyan God and Blue on her own, the two of you had begun the real, serious training. You pointing out the holes in her fighting style, as well as teaching her many of your own techniques. Both in close-quarters combat and longer distance engagements, refining her control with your Warding Eyes and Energy Shell techniques.

But on top of all of that, you have been pushing her, as well as yourself, your own limits, to ascend even further. Before going into the chamber you'd had a talk with Ace, Future Chaya's boyfriend and Time Patroller who also has the divine power to go beyond Blue. And so you'd had him explain it to you, showing you the form so you could feel the power firsthand before this training. Yet, despite your hard work and effort, you both still hadn't broken through that barrier yet. And your time in this place is quickly running out, only six months to go left in this place.

“Grrrrr! HAAAAAA!!” she snarls, turning and firing a powerful wave of ki at you. But you were ready, leaping over the beam. Spinning and twisting through the air, winding up behind her head and firing a powerful knee to the base of her neck. Stunning her, stopping Chaya's attack as your daughter drops. Landing hard on the ground, unmoving as she reverts back out of Blue back to her Super Saiyan God form, which you've trained her into taking as her base form. Shit, did you hit her too hard?

“Dammit. I think I broke something.” you mutter, turning from her back towards the living area, ready to head back. But as you take the first couple steps, suddenly from behind you you hear something.
“Not... Yet...” you hear your daughter's voice, turning around to see her pushing herself back up to her feet. “I'm not... Done... Yet...”

“Chaya?” you say, surprised she's even able to move, much less stand. But as she rises, you feel it. A sudden surge of power from her, her Blue aura blazing around her as she rises, still in her God form. Eyes unfocused, but blazing azure with power. But not only that, her power continues to rise. Higher and higher, as her aura swells around her.
“I-I won't. Stop.” she says, staggering a bit as she tries to find her balance. Aura blazing higher and higher, the entire time chamber darkening as the azure of her power deepens. You see her hair rising, standing up as she ascends to Super Saiyan Blue. “Ev-Everyone's counting on me. Cheering me on... Pushing me further... Higher. I-I can't lose! I WON'T lose!”

“Chaya?” you ask, realizing she's still completely out of it, even as her eyes focus on you. Unable to even realize where she is or who you are, clearly thinking she's back at Dreadzone, in the arena she loves. Yet, in her delirious state, the imaginary cheers of her fans are still pushing her higher. As she finds her balance, planting her feet and clenching her fists, you realize something important about your daughter. Her audience, her fans, they're her strength. Much as Karn is yours, how you'd do anything for him and face any threat for him. And how he fights for you and your family, your people, she fights for her fans. They're her strength, but not only her divine powers. No, their belief in her doesn't just fuel her godly might, but her very drive. She fights FOR them, as much as they show up and support her.

“Everyone. Lend me. Strength.” she says, her power continuing to swell as she bends forward, aura blazing. The wild blazing inferno of her power draws inward, hair pulsing with bright light from within as her strength continues to rise. Her aura distorts, tendrils of azure energy snaking out as her power continues to swell. You see her muscles grow slightly as well, bulking up a bit as her hair expands, strength continuing to rise. “I-I Won't! LOOOOOSE!!”

With her roar, her eyes blaze bright with blue light, strength surging as you feel it. She's done it, Chaya's shattered straight through her limits, and ascended! She roars, leaning back as she fully ascends beyond the limits of Super Saiyan Blue. Her strength multiplies ten times over, the sheer force of her newfound might pushing you back across the strange ground of this different dimension. However, this power doesn't last, sapping the last of Chaya's strength. The power disappears in a flash, Chaya reverting back to normal Blue, then to God as she falls. Dashing forward you reach out, catching your daughter's unconscious form. Smiling down at her, proud of her. She did it, she broke through the limits.

-One month later-

“That's it, you're doing it!” you faintly hear your daughter cheering you on as you fight, pushing yourself and digging deep. Feeling yourself on the cusp of reaching this new power as well, pushing the boundary between Super Saiyan Blue, and the power that lies beyond. “Dig deep! Close everything out, except what matters most to you! Focus only on what you fight for, why you can't stop! Why you WON'T stop, even if it kills you!”

Closing your eyes, your thoughts narrow down to only one. Focusing on your husband, Karn. Your life, your world, your everything. Envisioning him in your mind, remembering back to all the times he needed you. That demon you first ascended to Super Saiyan to defeat with him, the Covenant siege where you saved him from the Arbiter, all the times that he needed you. You see him facing that bitch Kai wearing your skin again, it getting the better of him. Of him calling out to you, saying he believes in you. That he knows you can do it. And as you hear his phantom voice, you feel it. The barrier between you and this deeper power snaps, and you ascend.

“HRRRRRRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, ascending beyond the limits of Super Saiyan Blue as power floods your body. You feel your muscles bulk up a bit as your power multiplies ten times over, strength skyrocketing to match your daughter's newfound form as well. And as the blinding light of your aura fades slightly, you see her grinning face. You smirk back, retaking your fighting stance. “Now, let's really see what this power can do.”
“Right!” she replies enthusiastically, taking the stance her father taught her. For just a moment you see a phantom vision of him behind her, teaching her that stance, your husband standing behind her in the same pose. And as you both charge towards one another once more, your resolve redoubles. You'll conquer this power, make it yours and go even further beyond its limits. You won't stop, you'll do whatever it takes to keep your husband and your family safe.

After sparring Freeza and taking Meloka Wolbach for a one-on-one training session in the gravity chamber, making sure Chilli isn't neglecting her physical training, Kars stops time and shows up to warn Karn and Chilli of the jailbreak of a being known as Moro, the Consumer of Worlds. Who was extracted by none other than Zamasu and taken to the Kai planet of another universe or timeline, noticing Towa's scrying magic and meeting Karn's gaze a moment before Towa cuts the spell. Karn, after comforting Towa then confronts Karn Junior. Helping him with losing control, losing himself to his powers before warning the Ginyu Force of the threat Moro presents. But as we rejoin Karn, you've just left the medical bay, leaving Raditz, Redis, and their newborn daughter Chadani under Dr. White's care.

“Well, that was certainly something.” Meloka says as Bardock and Gine leave, then turns to you, brows furrowing as the suddenly thinks to you. “So, what is it? What's going on?”
“Huh?” you reply aloud, caught off-guard by your wife's sudden question, Chaya raising a brow looking between you.
“Don't play dumb, hun, I've known you too long.” she answers aloud, a bit more playfully but still serious as she turns and walks the opposite way Bardock and Gine'd gone. “Something serious is going on, I can tell by those lines in your forehead. You got bad news from your visit with Towa earlier, I can tell. What is it?”

For a moment you debate on what to say, before remembering that, for a being who absorbs entire worlds, your wife's energy would most certainly be a delicious meal to Moro. She should know what's coming, shouldn't she? And what about Chaya, your eldest, who also no doubt is on that monster's radar too. Glancing to your daughter, she looks confused, looking back and forth between you both.

“What's going on Dad?” she asks you. “More bad news?”
“You could say that.” you say, rubbing your hand over your face as you decide how much you should tell them. And not only them, but your entire family as well. This threat could come for any of them, with that damned Kai backing Moro up.

“How bad is it? That Tuffle's not still alive, is it?” Chaya asks, also telepathically but you shake your head. Causing your daughter to sigh out in visible relief. “Thank goodness.”

“No, this problem could be far worse. A while back, Towa had me accompany her to a place called the Galactic Prison, where the Galactic Patrol keeps their most dangerous captured beings.” you think to them both, explaining how Towa'd woven more magic around Moro to keep it from escaping, Moro's escape with the help of that damned Zamasu and the Tuffle, and everything you'd seen in Towa's lab including her reaction to Moro looking through her scrying orb at you and her reaction once the link was disabled. Holding nothing back, letting them know the full scope and danger present. Or not as present anymore, being in a different universe, but no doubt still able to return whenever Zamasu sees fit to come back and cause problems. And as you finish telling them all this with your thoughts, your wife and daughter's expressions are a mixture of shock, anger, and horror.

“Damned Kai.” your daughter spits aloud as you finish your tale, the words filled with venom. “Where the hell are the Time Patrol when they're actually needed?”
“Did you think just because they're on our side they'd suddenly become useful?” your wife asks her aloud, which does give you a chuckle of amusement. She then continues, going back to telepathic communication. “But still, this is bad. We have no way of knowing when they'll strike.”
“No, I have a pretty good idea.” your daughter replies, you both turning to her as she lays out her thoughts. “When you saw him, Dad, did you think him much of a threat?”

“He was powerful, sure, but while that monster felt dangerous back then, it didn't feel like anything I couldn't handle now.” you reply with a thought, Chaya nodding. “Why?”
“Because those Zamasu, their goal is to destroy all mortals, right? Then what's giving up a dozen or even a few hundred planets of another universe to it?” your daughter asks, realization dawning. “Not like the Zamasu care about mortal-kind, in fact the more Moro absorbs that's less work the Kai has to do. And we all know how lazy Kai are.”
“Damn, that's a good point.” you reply with a thought, reevaluating the threat. The longer Moro's out of your universe, the more likely it is that it'll absorb all life from that universe, bringing all that power to bear against your own universe. “If only we knew when that monster would make its return, we could better plan.”

Like the Yardratians were almost preparing for this monster. Something to ask them later, you suppose. “I hadn't considered it, but you're right.”
“That's good, I know what to practice now.” Chaya replies, aloud no as she raises her hand to her forehead. “I gotta go, I'll be back tomorrow morning, ready to go to that new tournament.”
“Right, good luck Chaya.” your wife answers, hugging her before your eldest turns to you.

“Does feel that way sometimes.” you reply, reaching down and picking your wife up into your arms, hugging her close. “But it doesn't matter. The universe can throw whatever it wants at us, as long as we're together, we'll come out on top.”

“Hmmm, you're right.” your wife says, pressing herself to you. The two of you remain there, holding one another close and enjoying the brief moment of peace. That is, until Maza comes aboard the ship, coming directly towards you. As if seeking you out.
“There you are, Father.” he says, walking up towards you both. “We have some things in administration that need your eye, if you would?”
“Of course.” you reply to him, then turn to your wife. Who flies up and out of your arms, wrapping her arms over your shoulders as she lays against your back, holding onto you as her legs wrap around your torso under your arms. “Lead the way.”

“Right.” he replies, you following him back out of your home and to the largest building aside from the training complex in your city. Heading inside and to the back office where your administrative staff are hard at work.

We came here to make sure that our family and our people wouldn't just be able to co-exist, but thrive in each other's company despite their differences. I think it would also jive with the growing number of aliens that come here for various reasons.

For the next few minutes, you keep finishing up paperwork, giving your authorization for things Maza didn't want to sign off on without your approval. And soon enough it's over, you finishing it all just before time to train your students.

“Well done everyone, if you all need anything let me know.” you say, heading out of the administrative building. Meloka, still hanging off your back makes no effort to let go. You both head out, you fly over to the training hall. Flying down and landing before the door, yet before you can go inside suddenly you sense three energy signatures suddenly appear by you. Meloka clearly senses it too, you feeling her tense against your back. The three ki suddenly appear by you, revealing Koruza, the lost daughter of Maz and Kayle Durah, and your granddaughter Marron appearing together. “Afternoon. Everyone ready to start today's training?”

“Yes. I'm ready.” Marron says with a nod, clenching her fists. She's wearing her armor and not her usual attire, clearly ready to get to work.

As you say this, stepping off the edge you drop down, landing in the midst of your students.

“Now, who's ready to get started?” you ask, grinning at the chorus of “Sir!” and “Yes Sir!” shouts, everyone splitting into their groups. And for the next several hours you focus on your students. Some on first learning the Energy Body and/or increasing the speed they can power it up, while others work with Meloka on how to increase the efficiency of their energy attacks. Using less raw ki to achieve the same results, not losing power when drawing their ki out into abilities. Still others work on new techniques, sharing their abilities with one another under Maza and Broly's watchful gaze. The training session goes well, in your opinion, none of your students seeming resentful of not mindlessly pushing their bodies relentlessly. And while only Marron and Durah, who weren't raised on New Salda and the gravity affects them far more seem physically exhausted, you gather them all at the end of the training the same as usual.

“Well done everyone. Now, just because we're done here doesn't mean you can just go out and start working hard elsewhere now. The training schedule works best with one day devoted to actual rest, gives our bodies more time to acclimate to our training. Good rest and proper eating are invaluable to this training, so everyone go get yourselves something to eat, and let your muscles relax. And tomorrow we'll be back on the grind, so you'd better be ready.”

“Yes sir!” comes the collective shout from your students, who all begin to file out. And with no life or world-threatening monster hanging over your head, at least for the moment, you decide to continue resting as well as you and your family return home, eating a delicious meal cooked by Silver and his attendants. And once you've eaten, sitting back in your seat with a relaxed sigh, you realize that you have no pressing obligations. No imminent threats to be ready for, no one who needs you to rush to their aid, you actually have some time to rest. You look up and down the table at your family, at everyone present except Chilli's family and Chaya and feel a surge of happiness. This is why you fight, what you've fought for so many decades to achieve. And you've done it, this is it. Your family, safe and happy.

“Nothing to be concerned about. Fa-Personal business.” Towa replies, brushing it off. “Something for me to handle later.”
“Do you need a hand, or-?” you start, to which she shakes her head.

“No no, don't worry about this. I'll handle it myself.” she replies, trying to sound nonchalant. But you can immediately tell this isn't something to be brushed off. However, it's also clear she either doesn't want your help, or thinks your assistance would prove a hindrance.
“Alright. If you need my help, let me know.” you reply, letting it go. But your mind still goes over what happened, trying to make sense of what is going on, and how the demon king's magic was able to reach the mortal realm? But with no answers, the questions simply keep turning and tumbling about in your mind.

“-arn? Karn?” your wife asks, snapping you out of your thoughts as you turn to her. Seeing her glance over, you turning and seeing Okira looking questioningly at you.
“What? Sorry, what?” you ask, looking to your youngest daughter. “Sorry, was lost in thought. What is it?”
“I was asking if Dragon Force is awake.” she says, you raising a brow. Focusing a moment, trying to call your Stand forth as you clench your right fist. But there's nothing, your Stand still dormant.

“Sorry, no good.” you say, shaking your head. “He's still out, I can't reach him.”
“That's too bad.” her Stand, Imagine Dragon says, sticking out from between her lips and addressing you itself. “I was hoping he'd be up for a chat.”
“Wait, Divine Dragon Force is down?” Caulifla asks you, your daughter looking concerned to you. “Since when?”
“After it bested Lyin' Eyes Requiem.” you say, looking back down at your fist, remembering what happened. “It used its power to undo the damage that monster did to our world, but used up its strength and went dormant once more.”

“A noble sacrifice.” Divine Triumph Requiem says, Caulifla's Stand materializing behind her. As it does, however, you notice something... Shocking. Her friend, the one she knighted, Lottus, looks from her to her Stand. As if he heard it. Yet he didn't react to Okira's Imagine Dragon. Interesting.
“Yeah. He'll be back though, when it's time. He'll return, he always does.” you say, relaxing your right before turning back to Okira. “So, what were you needing him for? Is everything okay?”
“Oh yeah yeah, everything's fine. Nothing's wrong.” Okira responds, and you can tell she's not genuinely worried about things from her expression. “Just wanted to talk about something only it could relate to. With your Stand, and the Berserker Soul.”

Broly says that he and Kori are heading back to their fleet, that his crew have no doubt been missing him. Milha and her 'friend', Darkness say they're going back as well, the blonde woman's face red and her breath a bit ragged. Okira opens up her portal into her private library, having finished the last book she was reading clearly is now looking at the shelves for another to start, everyone going their own ways.

Meloka's eyes widen, then her brows furrow as she flies up, placing the back of her hand to your forehead.

“Mel?” you ask, puzzled. But your wife pulls her hand back after a moment, looking confused and still slightly worried.
“No fever. Could it be-?” she wonders, muttering to herself before raising her hand with three fingers pointed up. “How many fingers am I holding up?”
“Three.” you reply, raising a brow. “What's gotten into you?”
“Me? YOU're the one acting... Different.” she replies. “You're always rushing here and there to do something, always pushing yourself. You don't just... Relax.”

“Hahaha, maybe it's something I picked up in that year of training with Chaya.” you tell her with a laugh, grabbing her out of the air. “C'mon, we have time to ourselves, hun, let's enjoy it.”
“R-Right.” she says, still sounding a bit uncertain, but also warming up to the idea as you carry her from the ship. Heading outside, still holding your wife in your arms, you realize... That you aren't entirely sure what to do. You may have this time now, but you're entirely unsure how to spend it.

I was thinking. Remember that one epilogue or intermission where Janemba was the problem and woods of New Salda were suddenly full of vengeful spirits of dead Wookiees who wanted revenge on Saiyans who conquered their world? Karn jr was there and his power level was massive but he was so unskilled they were able to hit him despite the power difference. I think this potential future will not become true. He is promising and I think he will grow up to be skilled fighter. If he will hang out more with Broly maybe they will also do sparring fights together and that will further increase his abilities.

As I recall, it wasn't that he was unskilled (he was able to keep up with dear old dad after all), it's more that he didn't have that killer instinct more associated with Karn Sr's generation. I think he just wasn't prepared for that instant lethality you get from a beast race like the Wookies, much less their bloodthirsty spirits.

For a moment your wife is still, then you see her eyes shut, trying to contain her sudden laughter. Not a small laugh either, but a deep, rumbling belly laugh that causes her entire body to tremble. You look down at her in confusion, the force of your wife's laughter bringing a tear to her eye. Which she wipes away before looking up at you, flying up and out of your arms to gently kiss you.

“You idiot. You can't blame that on the last year. As long as I've known you, you've always been pushing yourself just one step further.” she says with a warm smile. “Fighting harder and harder, day after day either training yourself or someone else. You've NEVER been one to just rest, not without a doctor's orders. And even then, you'd be resentful about it. No, I think this new training schedule's gone and done you some good, hun.”
“You think so?” you ask, looking back. And, much as your wife said, it's hard to remember a time when you WEREN'T pushing your limits, pushing yourself harder and harder. There's always another threat, another challenge, so much so you can only remember a handful of times you truly took days off to rest. Usually the day after you'd nearly been killed or your world obliterated, but that was mostly because you'd been too physically exhausted to do much else. And you don't really know what to do on a day off, without being there for someone who needs you, someone with a problem they need you to solve. For the first time in years, for just a moment, you're not NEEDED. And you don't know what to do with this.

“I'd like that.” your wife replies, the two of you heading out together. Leaving your home behind and walking to the city. Moving through the streets, taking in the sights of the city your children helped build as people go about their days, you feel surprisingly at ease. Near everyone you pass acknowledges you and your wife, most of the inhabitants of the city out and about being your students after all. However, as you continue, suddenly you hear a familiar voice shouting.

“Dammit, that's not what I said and you know it!” Goar's voice booms, you and Meloka sharing a look before walking around the corner. Where, in the alley you see three backs you don't recognize in long, dark robes, Goar standing between them and a smaller crouching figure, huddled behind him. “I don't want to hurt you.”
“Hurt us? It's three on one.” the middle one says, drawing a small ki blade around his green right hand in an attempt to look more intimidating. However, all three of them aren't even at Goar's level of power, much less when he transforms. Seems they really don't know who they're messing with.
“Should we-?” your wife asks telepathically, you shaking your head. You aren't sure what's going on, but you're sure he can handle it.

“Last chance.” Goar tells them. “Stand down. Or I WILL hurt you.”
“I think we need to give biggun over there a few new scars.” the middle one says again, lunging forward. But Goar doesn't back down, instead you see him clench his large fists, drawing his aura in and activating his Energy Body as the middle one's cronies follow him in. The leader rushes in low and slashes at Goar's leg, trying to cripple him but your student doesn't even budge. He lets the attack strike his Energy Body, the weaker blade shattering against his armor. “What?! HOW?!!”
“I warned you.” Goar says simply, then reaches out and grabs the guy by the head. Lifting him up several feet off the ground as he stands at his full height. “Now I have to hurt you.”

“What are you idiots doing!? Get him! Save me!!” the guy shouts, the two sharing a look of nervous hesitation. And that's all Goar needs, using his other hand he chops the one to your left on the back of the neck with his right hand, knocking it unconscious before using the same hand to slam into the guts of the one he's holding. Winding the guy, dropping him at the feet of the terrified third.

“General Karn! Meloka!” he shouts, the hooded figure's sudden fear so palpable you can taste it in the air. Almost feeling Bane's specter in your head taking a deep breath of it. “Sorry I wasn't at practice today, I ran into a small problem.”
“General Karn! This brutish oaf is attempting to steal our property!” the one remaining thug says, his sudden change of tact surprising you as he pulls his hood off. Revealing a scaly, reptilian face with red eyes. “That girl behind him is our property, and this brute is trying to steal her from us! Without compensation.”

“These slaver bastards kidnapped this girl from her home, and she tried to escape.” Goar responds, an angry tone to his voice. “They were going to kill her, General.”
“Kill? Nonsense. She's far more valuable alive.” the lizard man says, blinking slowly. “No, she will be... Reeducated, and shown the error of her ways. But not killed.”
“Tch.” your wife exhales through clenched teeth, you hearing her knuckles pop as she clenches her fists. But she doesn't move, clearly waiting for your cue on how to handle this.

You don't say anything, instead start walking forward. The slaver, clearly nervous takes a step back, but you don't stop at him He doesn't even try to impede you as you march forward. Instead of stopping by the slaver you keep going, walking right past him without issue. Then past Goar as well, who doesn't seem even slightly surprised as you go straight to the other cloaked figure, kneeling down by the one Goar was protecting.

“Hey, are you okay?” you ask, slowly, gently reaching out with your hand down by the ground palm-up. Slowly sliding it into the hooded, cloaked figure's line-of-sight. “It's okay, everything's going to be-”
“Baaah! St-Stay back!” the woman exclaims, immediately jumping a bit back. But she immediately stumbles over her own cloak, tripping on it and falling on her rear. Pulling her hood down, and revealing the face of an alien species you're unfamiliar with.
“A Togruta.” Bane's phantom thinks in your mind, as suddenly his knowledge of the species flows into your mind. The horn-like appendages on her head, the Montrals, are actually sensory organs that detect movement around them ans sprout Lekku, or head-tails. Hers barely come past her shoulders, meaning- “A juvenile.”

“Kids.” you say, voice a low growl as you stand up to your full height, turning back to face the slavers. “You bastards are stealing kids.”
“Woah woah woah, we're not stealing anything, general!” the slaver retorts, raising both hands and taking a nervous step back. No doubt hearing the anger in your voice. “We bought her, fair and square. Honest.”
“BUYING children is fair and honest?” you reply, feeling your left eye twitch. Seeing the scared reaction the girl had as she backed away nervously, imagining your own children in her shoes, you and your Berserker Soul are in complete alignment. “And just what were you planning to do with her, huh?”

Silence hangs over the alley, the slaver realizing that he'd have been better off fleeing instead of bringing you into this as he glances towards the entrance of the alley, only to see your wife still standing there, arms crossed. But you see the vein bulging in her forearm, can see how tightly she's gripping her own arms and know she's as furious as you are.

“General, we're just in this business to make money. Buying and selling whatever brings the most credits, honest.” he says, a panicked tone to his voice. “The boss just buys whatever he thinks he can flip for easy credits, we don't do nothin' with the cargo, honest!”

“Are you alright? Did they treat you well?” you ask her, then furrow your brows a bit. “Or did they treat you poorly?”
“That's not-!” the slaver shouts, you turning your head. Looking over your shoulder and glaring at him, filled with murderous intent if he interrupts again, he immediately goes silent. You hold the glare another couple of seconds before turning, softening your expression as you turn back to the kid.

“Tell me how they treated you.” you tell her, the girl explaining her ordeal. She tells of how one day she was taken from her home, her parents not trying to save her as the lizards took her away from her home. Took her clothes and burned them, leaving her only the cloak she's wearing. And the collar around her neck, which you now notice has a blinking red light on it. “And what about this collar?”

As you say the word you see her wince, flinching as if expecting something to happen. But after a few seconds where she isn't either struck or otherwise hurt, she tells you how whenever she'd do something wrong, the collar'd zap her. How at first it hurt so bad it would incapacitate her completely, but now she can even run with it shocking her. And at this point you've heard enough, you're not letting these slavers hurt this kid any more.

But how do you handle this?

“Wha-ack!” he exclaims as your grip closes around his neck, you loosening it just a bit so he can talk as you sense the king's powerlevel rapidly approaching. And he's not alone. “Who are you talking abo-?”

But before he can even finish the question, dropping down like a blazing comet comes King Vegeta IV. Crashing to the road just outside the alley, slamming into it like a meteor from space. Leaving a crater the width of the road as he rises up out of it, a furious snarl on his face as you end your telekinetic hold. As it is very clearly no longer necessary.

“Oh shi-!” is all the poor bastard has time to say before the king dashes to him, grabbing him by the throat.
“Trafficking children? On MY world?” Vegeta snarls in his face, as a moment later a half dozen of his Royal Guard land outside the alleyway behind him. “Take the other two. We're going to find out every last thing these bastards know.”

Perhaps it's time an example was made of what happens to scum like you who think that's okay?” he asks, the lizard man's jaw dropping in horror as he realizes the implications of your king's declaration. But before he can object, or even speak King Vegeta takes off into the air, carrying away that slaver as two of the six Royal Guard carry away the other two. Leaving you, Meloka, Goar, and Cesha Ryn alone in the alleyway.

The girl who was either stolen from coward parents, or they were such vile, despicable wastes of breathable atmosphere they SOLD their own child to slavers. Either way, this poor kid's had a hard life, growing up in the harsh reality of the universe. The strong do as they will, and the weak either comply and are killed. But you're strong, strong enough to enforce your order on your small corner of the universe. One where the strong use their power to protect those weaker than themselves, to put themselves between their people and danger, not ruling aloof over them with no care for their lives.

“Well, it looks like everything wo-” Goar starts, only for the girl to rush to him. Sprinting to his left leg, wrapping her arms around it and hugging him best she can.
“Th-Thank you. For saving me.” she says, tears streaking down her face. “Thank you thank you thank you. I promise I won't be a burden, I won't be in your way.”

And as you watch, the big man himself begins to tear up, reaching down gently and rubbing her head between her montrals. Seems your students have learned more from you than just how to fight. No, you've also been clearly teaching them how to live as you do, as well. Following your example. And you couldn't be prouder.

Given that we won't have much to do (unless GD opts to let us play as Chaya for the exhibition), I think now would be a good time to talk about our Tournament of Power lineup.
This goes without saying, but Karn, Meloka, Frieza, and Chaya are locked in already. That leaves us 6 slots to fill (probably).
Whoever we pick, it's important to remember that some of us will be eliminated. I think a semi-redundant team would be best, just so we don't have any massive gaps as our numbers are thinned.

I just had an amazing idea, what if we offer Ubo and his buddies a full squad from our class to help watch things for a day while we bring Ubo or Superman? They aren't Kryptonian tough, but anything short of Darksied showing up they can handle right as rain. AGE 780, UNIVERSE 10 SACRED WORLD OF THE KAIS

“So. Let me make sure I understand you completely.” you say, sitting at the table with several identical Kai named Zamasu as well as beings wearing different bodies but still having the same souls as the Kai. Different timelines, perhaps? “You wish for me to destroy the Saiyan Karn and his family, to destroy his world and people in retribution for his acts against your cause?”
“That is correct, Moro. And we're willing to offer you quite the compensation.” one of the Kai says. “Universe 10 has many planets that were scheduled for... Purging, by the previous God of Destruction. However, I think a better use of them would be for you to take them. They are to be destroyed anyways, when a new Destroyer is appointed. So I think allowing you to take their power for yourself would be adequate compensation for this service.”

“Ohh?” you reply, brow raised in genuine curiosity. “You wish for me to regain my strength?”
“Of course. While you're powerful, as you are, you do not stand a chance.” they continue, then turn to another of the not Zamasu Zamasu's. One wearing the face of that same Saiyan. Who nods, clenching his fists and ascending in a blaze of divine power. You watch, fascinated as his hair turns pink and begins growing longer and longer, as if rapidly aging for several seconds until his hair reaches down his back. And his power! Just tasting it in the air makes you want more, you NEED more! “Even this level of power is nothing compared to that Saiyan's.”

“Hold on. You mean to tell me that he's stronger than-?” you start, only to stop mid-sentence as you detect something.
“Moro!?” you hear a faint voice exclaim, not audibly but magically. Someone's scrying you, and doesn't know that you can HEAR through others' scrying magic back to them.
“Yes. Seems he's fallen in with quite the crowd.” the woman from before, the demoness who added extra magics to further bind you before says as you take a drink from the tea before you as you focus your senses, pinpointing the spell. Then, with a quick non-verbal reflect cause the magic to appear, showing you in the air the faces peering into the orb. So you turn, staring at the two. Or, specifically, the Saiyan. And smirk.

Immediately, realizing she's been discovered the demoness ends the link, several of the Kai-bodied Zamasu sense the magical pop and look around, all seeing you staring up at one point in confusion.

“Moro? What is it?” the Zamasu you'd been speaking to asks, you hiding your grin as you turn back.
“Nothing to worry about.” you reply, wondering what that being's unique energy will taste like?

You are Moro, the once-feared devourer of worlds, who has spent the last several million years locked away, your power bound up by a binding the last Grand Supreme Kai put on you in your climactic final battle between you both. You survived, devouring the energy you'd absorbed in your time rampaging across the universe to survive. But now you're freed, having been broken free of your prison by the Kai sitting across from you. A foolish worm, believing that he can control you. That you haven't been actively draining his energy slowly, so slightly neither he nor any of the other Zamasu from other timelines have realized what you're doing. At this rate, within a week you'll have enough power to be more open, to drain their might more overtly.

But as you have the thought, suddenly you sense another presence. And you're not the only one, EVERYONE present turning as a new figure appears. At first glance, the man seems harmless. If you only judge him by his physical appearance. The being, who despite concealing what you assume to be the vast, vast majority of his power, absolutely DWARFS the still-transformed Zamasu wearing the Saiyan's face.

“G-Grand Priest?!” the Zamasu you'd been speaking with shouts in surprise. He rises up to his feet, bowing at the waist. “To what do I owe the pleasure of such an... Unexpected visit?”

But this being, “Grand Priest”, doesn't immediately answer. Instead it sweeps its gaze over everyone, slowly looking over all of you. Or, rather, the Zamasu. His gaze doesn't even fully go onto you, as if deeming you as lesser than the rest of these morons. You fight to suppress a smirk, let this deity underestimate you. It'll only make his eventual downfall all the sweeter.

“I have come on behalf of his majesty, Grand Zen-Oh to announce that your presence is required.” the deity says, gaze unwaveringly confident. “That the Destroyer of each universe, as well as their Supreme Kai are to gather in Grand Zen-Oh's realm for an important announcement. And a... Demonstration.”
“That would rather be a... Problem.” the Zamasu says, sounding a bit nervous. “As Lord Rumsshi, as well as Lord Gowasu were both killed by-”
“I am aware. And you know that you must find a Destroyer soon, yes?” he replies. “And the sooner the better.”

“Grand Priest. Would it not be permissible to allow a temporary God of Destruction to be appointed?” another Zamasu, the one wearing that Saiyan's face asks, still transformed. To which the higher-order deity's eyes narrow slightly, but all the more menacing for his subdued reaction. “Someone to fulfill the role, until a suitable replacement from this timeline could be found?”

“Well. As long as the Supreme Kai of Time has permitted this blatant disregard for the rules to continue, I see not why I should have to interfere.” he says. “Once you've appointed the new Destroyer, Kusu will inform you both of when to arrive. No not be late.”
“Of course. We shall arrive on time. Thank you for the advanced warning, Grand Priest.” Zamasu says, bowing at the waist. The other Zamasu present all also bow, and with a smirk the upper deity turns back to you.

“Oh, and one more thing. If you bring your...Guest as well, and he tries to take energy from myself again or from Grand Zen-Oh, he will be... Dealt with.” the being says, turning fully to you. “Do I make myself clear?”

“Crystal.” you reply with a smirk, intrigued. Seems these higher-level deities are far less incompetent, far less unaware than those beneath them. This should prove to be quite interesting, going forward. It makes you want to see just how powerful this “Zen-Oh” is, and how its power tastes. With a small nod the being simply vanishes, disappearing as if it never were.
“Moro?! What did you do!” Zamasu demands, turning back to you, a look of panic in his eyes. “Did you try and drain his power?”

For a second I was wondering if they will take him to the Tournament of Power, but since they hate us, they could try to do something more vile. While our fighters will fight at the Tournament, they will bring Moro to New Salda so he destroys it while we are gone. Though Towa and the half Demon kinds will be there, so planet will not be defenceless. Then again who can actually defend themselves against opponent like Moro?

I had this random thought. This may or may not be a good idea. So Karn and Meloka get into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for a year before the Tournament of Power.

And this is the part where Karn keels over and dies. Now, unless I'm mistaken, the big reason why Goku is able to stack Kaioken and Super Saiyan Blue and not die is due to Super Saiyan Blue being much more serene and stable of a transformation as opposed to the traditional Super Saiyan forms, which have some level of strain or fluctuating rage. The green version is an even bigger, stronger, and much angrier version of the typical Super Saiyan forms. I'm pretty sure Kaioken + Beserker = Solar System-Busting Self-Destruct Omeganuke

I mean Goku using kaioken with the various "Super" forms is touched upon in other medias. Notably in the Tenkaichi games where SSJ4 form/fusions hit them with the bigass x100. And since The Big Bang Kamehameha x100 is probably the coolest fucking thing ever I headcannon it as having a pass with everything necessary to make it happen. The Kamehameha x10 is also cool.

That's not a Kaio-Ken though. That's the sort of multiplying power principle that the Event Horizon's built on. Multiplying power onto itself. Like the basic Kamehameha is a 2.3x power boost for just the attack, focusing your energy into a single point like that. But the x10 Kamehameha is just that, pushing that to be a 23x boost by putting more and more of your power into it.
