Grand Zen-Oh, the omni king and ruler of the omniverse has declared there will be a massive tournament to be held in his honor. A grand affair between several universes, each battling it out for the very right to exist. And at the forefront of this grand spectacle will be the Saiyans of Universe 7, who Grand Zen-Oh has grown fond of watching battle. Twenty eight years ago, the Saiyan race were annexed into the PTO as just another race, one of many sent to conquer other worlds. Now, the Saiyans are widely regarded as the strongest warrior race in the entire Seventh Universe, defenders of the PTO led by their strongest, the “Dragon of New Salda” General Karn and his family.

You the players will (most often) control Karn. A man who has grown from his lowly beginnings as a Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733 to become not only the strongest Saiyan of his time at AGE 759, but also personal friend to the former emperor Lord Freeza, father to well over a dozen powerful and unique children, a mentor and teacher to his fellow Saiyans, and the best hope for his universe's continued survival. No one warrior can hope to battle eight other universes' strongest fighters alone and hope to prevail, one man's power and skill won't be enough to overcome the looming threat of extermination. But this coming battle will be the ultimate test of how you've lived your life until now, the choices you made not only for yourself, but for the fate of your entire universe.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After defeating Anilaza and Ribrianne, Karn was challenged by Jiren. However, before they could fight, Chaya leapt between them, telling Jiren he'd have to get through her first. After easily besting her, Chaya gathered the energy of the ENTIRE Seventh Universe watching the battle in a super massive Spirit Bomb, absorbing that energy into herself. While Chaya battled Jiren, Cooler, Chilli, Freeza and Rimuru battled Moro. And with Cooler's self-sacrifice, Moro was eliminated and the Tenth Universe erased. Chaya, after giving everything she had to weaken Jiren was saved from ring out by Karn, who along with Meloka went to confront the Eleventh Universe and the weakened Jiren, along with Hulk from the Sixth. And as we rejoin Karn, Jiren's back on his feet, seemingly ready to battle once more.

“So, here to finish the job your daughter started, is that it?” Jiren asks, his gaze firmly planted on you. “Very well. I'll take you down as well.” he says, clenching his fists. Sending another shock wave of power as he draws upon his weakened strength, the shards of arena that had been floating around his meditating form shattering completely as he readies himself for battle once more. You and your wife brace yourselves as the shock wave slams into you both, you hearing Dyspo shout in panic on the edge as he desperately tries to keep hanging on to the side. And before you can react Jiren's already moving. But so is your wife, her Kaio-Ken-enhanced power letting her intercept Jiren before he reaches you, her left fist meeting Jiren's right in the air. The shock wave knocking both fighters back, your wife landing in a slide back by you, Jiren dropping and landing in a slide as well with a scowl. “Tch!”

But the instant the shock wave passes you're charging in, not giving him a moment to recover. Closing the distance, Jiren meeting your flying right with his left, stopping your attack with his palm as he slides to a stop. Grabbing your fist, you know he's about to try and throw you like he did Chaya, so you turn your momentum into a pull, twisting into a left turning kick at his head. Which Jiren blocks with his right forearm, your wife sliding low under you, ki blades drawn as she slashes at his ankles. Jiren hops just over her dual blades, bringing both feet up and slamming both heels into your guts.

“Guuuh!” you wheeze, Jiren releasing you as you're sent flying back. Smashing into and through one of the pillars, landing in a tumble. Rolling over and over, sliding back up to your feet as you're sent backwards. Getting your feet under yourself and rising while sliding to a stop, hearing your wife cry out as she's no doubt sent flying as well.

“Tch!” you exhale, clenching your teeth and raising your right to your forehead. Focusing on Jiren's still-massive power and teleporting in right behind him. Only for the grey to turn, you barely bringing your arms up in a cross arm block to withstand his power. The low sending you sliding back on your heels, sliding a dozen yards to a stop.
“You lack the power to best me.” he tells you, then turns and catches Meloka's Ki Blade as she teleports behind him, swinging at his neck. Crushing it in his hand with seeming ease, your wife then teleporting from his side back beside you. “Neither of you possess enough power to stop me.”

“Maybe not separate. But together, against our might combined, we won't lose.” you reply, taking your fighting stance.
“We won't let all that work our daughter put in be in vain!” your wife shouts, her Kaio-Ken aura blazing even higher up around her beyond Blue aura. “We'll finish what she started, and knock you out of this tournament!”
“Try all you want, no matter how many of you there are: I won't lose!” he replies through gasping breaths, fiery aura blazing tremendously. His might, though diminished from his battle with Chaya, is still massive. Still a serious threat.

But what will you do? How do you and Meloka face Jiren?

We pack enough of a punch to force Jiren to at least address our ranged attacks, meaning he won't have time to rest.
As he handles our shots, anything Meloka is able to glean in that time is going to be essential.

“Go!” you shout, exploding forward towards Jiren. Your wife follows you as you charge in directly, the Grey planting his feet and bracing himself as you swing. Blocking your left jab with his left forearm as Meloka flips up and over you both, twisting and spinning into a turning kick aimed at the left side of his head. Forcing Jiren to duck under the blow, then he fires a right straight at you while twisting and bringing his left up in a backfist at your wife. Meloka manages to block, but you're too slow raising your defenses and take the shot straight to the chin. Sending you flying back, flipping once and landing feet-first on a rocky pillar. Kicking off it so hard the structure shatters, closing back in as your wife does the same from the opposite side. Keeping the relentless pressure up, Jiren blocking both of your flying in strikes with his arms.

“This level of power won't beat me.” he says, shoving your both back. Only to both have the same idea and Instant Transmission back in before you've even flown back a yard, continuing the attack. Relentlessly you swing, using the full power of your Berserker Soul and the crushing Djem So technique while your wife utilizes her Su Ma, flipping around your both and constantly attacking Jiren from different angles as you attack him head-on. Leaving the Grey unable to directly focus on either of you without taking a solid shot from the other. Something Jiren quickly grows furious with, as with a roar his aura explodes. Knocking you both back, you sliding across the ground, heels digging twin trenches through the ground. But your wife, having been in the air is sent flying. And without hesitation Jiren condenses his energy into his right hand, firing a punch like a laser.

“GUUAH?!” Meloka cries as the energy slams into your wife's guts hard enough to double her over in the air. Meloka coughing up blood as her Kaio-Ken aura fades from around her as she's launched higher into the sky.
“MELOKA!?” you cry out, then turn your focus on Jiren as you see red. Your Berserker Soul's fury suddenly explodes, and before you've fully realized it you've closed the distance between the two of you. Landing a powerful right to his jaw, knocking Jiren off his feet and sending him flying. “HOW DARE YOU!?”

With a snarl you explode after him, Jiren recomposing as you close in. Unleashing your full, berserk rage on him, relentlessly attacking the Grey and forcing him completely on the defensive. Each blow you land on his guard sending shock waves that shatter the rocky formations behind him, each one forcing the Grey back a step as he blocks your fury-fueled onslaught. Completely ignoring your own defense, swinging with everything you've got.

“Your fists are fueled with anger. You cannot defeat me.” Jiren says, suddenly deflecting your right past him with his left forearm, stepping into your blow and landing a powerful uppercut to your guts. Your Energy Body cracking from the force of the blow, shattering as you hold your ground. Swinging your forehead into his face simultaneously, chunks of your shielding ki falling and shattering on the ground around you as Jiren staggers back. Only for a massive blast of ki from above to slam down onto him, smashing the arena around him. The ground cracks and shatters, the circle of your wife's ki from above breaking further and further down as you recognize the attack. The hyper-dense beam of energy from her Sky Cannon, meant to pin down foes is now not only holding the Grey in place, but slowly forcing him closer to a ring-out! You look around, and seeing your wife, panting, chest heaving as she controls that massive energy, grins at you. Smile bloody through the injury Jiren's blow gave her.

“He's going to destroy your wife's attack, then leap out of the hole.” Kars suddenly thinks to you, showing you images of Jiren punching through one of Chaya's attacks you hadn't seen during her fight with the Eleventh's strongest. “Hit him with something big the moment he leaps out!”
“Right!” you reply, throwing your arms wide and gathering your ki into your hands as Kars ends the mental link. Arms spread wide, ki glowing as you bring both hands together. Readying your attack as suddenly a beam of energy from the hole Jiren's been stuffed down into fires up, slicing effortlessly through the Sky Cannon and into the large overhead orb powering it directly, obliterating your wife's attack and leaping up out of the hole, just as Kars predicted. Right into your trap. “FINAL FLAAAAASH!!”

Roaring, you unleash a massive golden torrent of ki, your wave of energy engulfing him completely. And despite not being able to punch through his own energy, brought up at the last second like a dense shield, physics take over and your blast launches him well-clear of the edge of the ring in a second! This is it, you can win this!

“HAAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, continuing to pour your energy into the blast. Sending him further and further back, until you're certain he can't come back before ending the attack. But that's not enough, he's not out until he's out. You have to ensure he goes over, before-
“JIREN!” Toppo shouts, and suddenly a slab of the arena is rocketed out towards him. You turn, seeing the large man had thrown it, only to leave himself wide-open, taking a devastating right hand to the jaw that sends the other Pride Trooper flying.

“Dammit!” you snarl, but before you can attack the shard your wife does. Firing a ball of ki the size of her fist, it reaching the rock before that rock reaches Jiren, detonating and reducing that stone to rubble. “Nice shot!”

Only for a purple blur to launch itself from the stage, reaching Jiren before you've even processed it having moved.

“We need you to stay in the game!” Dyspo, the blur shouts, grabbing Jiren and spinning them both. Building momentum before launching Jiren back at the stage towards you. “Don't you lose, Jiren! We're counting on you!”

And before you can interfere, Dyspo launches Jiren down, the Grey rocketing straight towards you at high speed. Drawing his right back, you doing the same only for your wife's charge to catch him completely by surprise, her flying kick landing flush to his guts, returning the gut shot he gave her just as he was about to swing. Surprising him just an instant, and giving you an opening. Swinging with your full power, using your legs, back, and arms, putting everything into this punch. Which lands flush to his jaw, stopping his charge with another powerful shock wave exploding out from the force of the punch. Sending Jiren flying back, smashing through two rocky outcroppings before being embedded in a third, your wife landing right beside you. Clenching her fists, her Kaio-Ken aura blazing back to life around her. Only for that pillar Jiren's embedded in to EXPLODE, Jiren's fiery aura blazing like a raging inferno.

“I won't lose! Not to you weaklings!” he shouts, power climbing higher and higher as he struggles to catch his breath. Only to explode back towards you both like a blazing meteor. Bracing yourself, you block his furious right with your crossed arms, the force of the blow nearly knocking you off your feet. But before he can follow up, your wife attacks, springing off the ground into a full-body right uppercut to his jaw. Staggering Jiren back, giving you a moment to plant your feet and recompose, then launch yourself at the Grey. Meloka matches your charge, and as one you both swing. Gritting his teeth, Jiren raises his arms, blocking each of your punches with one forearm each. But your combined power's too much for him to withstand, your double blow taking him off his feet and sending him flying back once more. “Tch!”

But what now? What do you do?

“Come on, we can't give him a chance!” you shout, gathering your power and exploding forward as Jiren slams into the same formation he'd been embedded in before, dragging his heels through it and sliding to a stop. “We can do this, I know it! I believe in you.”

However, as you charge forward, suddenly you feel it. A TREMENDOUS surge of power as your wife's strength soars, and suddenly blinks right past you. Her blindingly bright aura streaking past you like a comet as her own power surges, closing in on Jiren and landing a left shovel hook to his jaw before he's ready for her. The force staggers Jiren as she rockets past, leaving him wide open for your powerful, heavy overhand clubbing right. Landing flush on his face, knocking him off the small rocky outcropping platform, smashing down into the arena. Meloka, ricocheting off of another rocky outcropping bounces back, Jiren flipping backwards up and away, dodging her flying ax kick down where his head was. Landing on both feet he fires a barrage of rapid-fire punches, forcing your wife to defend. Yet the flurry is overwhelming, knocking her flying back. Directly into you as you charge, catching her midair and spinning, launching her right back at Jiren. Watching as flips and slams into him heel-first, her flying kick sending him sliding back even through his guard.

“Hmph!” he grunts, sliding to a stop as your wife kicks off his arm, back flipping over you as you charge in. Keeping the pressure on Jiren relentless, not giving him a moment to compose himself. He blocks your strike as well, your blow not sending him back as your wife's had, but as you follow it up she flips around you and attacks again. Jiren blocking this kick as well, yet it's clear he's struggling as you both press the attack relentlessly. Moving in perfect timing with your wife, your combined assault forcing Jiren back. Inch by inch, foot by foot, the two of you slowly drive him back, nearer and nearer towards the edge of the arena.
“JIREN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” his Destroyer shouts in panic, you hearing the fear in his voice.
“Yes, that's it Saiyans! Drive that Jiren right off the edge!” Beerus shouts, voice full of hope as the two of you continue to attack. “Finish him off!”

But as you and your wife, fighting in perfect tandem continue pressing the advantage, suddenly your instincts scream in warning. You turn, only to see a half dozen circles of light blue ki are being fired at you all from well beyond the edge of the ring, barely seeing Dyspo in the air still attacking. Continuing to try and support Jiren as he falls, nearer and nearer to being rung out. The attack forcing you and your wife to split up, dodging the barrage of circle explosives as they slam into the ground by Jiren.

“Enough of you!” you snarl, raising your right hand to your forehead. However, before you can, suddenly Jiren's closed the distance. Catching you off-guard with a powerful right straight to the guts, knocking the wind out of you. Following up with a left to the jaw, the crushing blow sending you flying back. Smashing through several outcroppings before smashing back-first into the central pillar, slamming into it so hard you're left embedded in it. Coughing up blood from the blow as you finally manage to gasp in a breath. Watching dizzily as Meloka, blue and crimson aura blazing goes in again, trying to fight Jiren herself. But you can't focus, seeing six fights simultaneously as your head spins. That one hurt you. “Khhh!”

With a grunt you tear yourself out of the pillar, landing atop a nearby chuck of stage and dropping down to a knee. Breathing ragged from the blow and the intensity of the fight, and as you stand your body trembles, still stunned by the force of that blow. You're not getting back in there anytime soon, not like this.

But what do you do now? What CAN you do?

I'm going to be real. I don't think Meloka can win this 1 v 1. But I do think Karns Faith in her will give her enough of a boost to keep it going while he unfucks his head.

Opening your eyes, standing up to your feet, you feel every eye in the arena on you. Even those of the deities above, but those puny gods are below your notice right now. As you turn your head, finding the bald Grey, who's currently got your wife held up by the gi in his left, right drawn back. And without a word, without a thought your body's already on the move. Closing the distance between yourself and Jiren before you've even had the thought, right slamming square into his jaw. Sending Jiren flying, you gently catching your wife before she can drop.

“Karn...” she says as you don't take your eyes off Jiren, your icy glare fixed on him as he smashes through several piles of rubble before finally landing on his feet and sliding to a stop. “Woah.”

Turning to Meloka, seeing how battered she got fighting Jiren without you. Your brow twitching as you gently set her down beside you, jaw clenched tight.

“Ki-” cough “Kick his ass.” your wife gasps out, you giving her a nod as you turn back to Jiren, who's chest is still heaving as he tries to rally his breath.
“So, you've been holding back.” he says, clenching his fists. “It doesn't matter! Your might still doesn't compare to my own.”

But you don't reply, looking down on him from the rubble you're standing atop. Focusing all your icy rage on Jiren, on what he did to your wife. Forging the wild, hot fires of wrath into a focused, hard, icy wrath. You're going to hurt him.

“I won't let you-!” Jiren starts, but you're already on the move. Blurring forward, your entire focus on Jiren as you close in. Weaving his right with a clockwise twist as you close in, spinning and smashing his jaw with your left. Staggering him a step to his left, firing back with a right backfist into left cross. Leaning back, you dodge under the backfist, driving both heels into his guts as he tries to bring his left to bare. “Guuuuuh!”

The force of your blow knocking you back-first against the ground, landing in a roll back to your feet and closing right back in. Despite your double kick to his guts doubling him over Jiren tries to recover, only to take a left straight directly to the face. Which staggers him back a step, giving you room to take a running step forward and twisting into a spinning back left kick to his chest, stealing his balance completely and knocking him off his feet.

“Guah?!” Jiren wheezes as you send him flying yet again, and before you even land draw your right back, then firing your own powerful ranged punch. The shock wave from your fist slams into his chin, catching him by complete surprise as you send him even further back. Smashing through two rock formations before recovering, flipping and kicking off the third straight into the air. Gathering his ki, taking the same stance as Chaya did with her Spirit Bomb. Making a large ball of ki, larger than even you in an instant. “HRRAAAAAA!!”

With a roar he launches it down at you, but you don't run or dodge. Instead, bracing yourself you draw your hands back, and as his attack nearly lands you lace your fingers together, returning the blast right back at him with a clubbing strike.

“WHAT?!” you hear him roar before he's forced to fire a second attack into the first, detonating both on impact. The moment both attacks detonate your body surges forward, taking two steps and launching yourself into the air. Dashing through the smoke, closing the distance in a blur before he can prepare to defend, again rocking him with a powerful right. But you don't stop at one, launching into a vicious assault mid-air. One which Jiren does his best to defend himself from, but for every three strikes he blocks, two more find their marks. The two of you clashing all the way down to the ground, where you land a powerful right side kick to his guts. Doubling him over in pain, right into a left smash uppercut, your blow knocking him right off the ground back into the air, spinning and landing mix of a spinning roundhouse and ax kick to his shoulder, sending him crashing back to the ground so hard you dribble him off it, his body bouncing right back up to you. Right into your overhand left, which he blocks, but your blow knocks him right back down to the ground. “Khhh! Hraaaaaaaaa!!”

So, instead, you consciously activate your Barrier, letting his blast send you flying high into the sky. You don't respond, watching. Wanting to move forward, to attack, but your instincts keeping you back. Sensing something gathering in Jiren, his power starting to swell.

You and Jiren stare one another down, neither making the first move for several seconds. But then, as you stare one another down your body moves. Surging forward, only for Jiren to match your speed. The distance between you both vanishing in a flash, your bodies moving so fast you can't even keep up. Watching yourself lay on the pressure, Jiren giving his all as well. His face, no longer the emotionless mask he's been wearing but a snarl of rage and determination as the two of you battle. Hundreds, thousands of blows a second ring out between you both, arms and legs a blur. You can't tell who is winning the exchange until you connect, landing the first blow of the flurry with a left sneaking through his guard, landing on his chin.

“Guh!” he exhales, your blow staggering him only for a moment. But that allows you to land a dozen powerful punches and kicks to his chest before he recovers, getting his guard back up and resuming his defenses. “Grrrrr! HAAAAA!”

Then Jiren lands, a right cross over your arm, landing flush on your chin. As the blow knocks you back your body retaliates with a turning left kick to the jaw, your right foot slamming into his chin and knocking him back as well. Your opposite blows send one another flying back, smashing through the stage before finding solid footing, and flying right back at one another. Launching right back into your full powered assaults as you both drop out of the air towards the ground.

“So you've been hiding this power all along? Just used your daughter to weaken me, then throw her away when she's expended?” he tries to taunt, but his words only further fuel the white-hot flames of icy rage burning within you. With a clockwise spin slipping outside his right, bringing your own right around in a lariat to his collarbone. Driving him down, smashing through the jagged outcropping of stage then slamming him into the central pillar. Cracks spiderwebbing through the chunk you embed him into, but before you can follow up his eyes flash. Firing his couple dozen energy blasts from his eyes, forcing you to use your arms to block the blasts. Which you do, not taking a single hit directly but that drives you back, giving Jiren a chance to break free and launch off the central pillar towards you shoulder-first. You meet his shoulder with your own, letting him drive you back through the air until your feet hit the arena. Then slipping outside his shoulder, driving your knee up into your guts as his charge carries him harder into your blow. “GUUH!”

Which you dash straight at him through, weaving through dozens of attacks and closing in, grabbing his outstretched arm around his wrist with your left, ducking his own panicked left and pulling him into a sharp right elbow to the diaphragm. Forcing him to wheeze, knocking the air out of him as he doubles over again. Kicking off the ground into a leaping left uppercut, punch landing flush on his chin and launching Jiren into the air. Twisting around into a right backfist, sending him spinning and crashing back to the arena floor. Leaving you drifting back down out of the air, slowly falling back towards him.

Only for Jiren, from within the cloud of dust to fire a MASSIVE blast of energy. His overwhelming wave of power exploding forth, but your body already instinctively knowing to activate your Barrier. Absorbing the hit even as the powerful but unfocused blast of ki slams into your shield, sending you flying. The moment his blast ends you drop your Barrier, only for Jiren to just appear above you, launching into his attack. But your body is ready, resuming the fight without hesitation as you both fall back towards the arena. Neither of you landing a decisive blow, then as you reach the ground you both jump back from one another. Even Black Freeza hadn't pushed you this hard in this form, leaving you gasping for air. But you're not the only one gassed, Jiren's breathing much more labored than your own, his power already slowly but surely starting to wane. No longer at the same peak of one hundred percent he was before the fight had resumed. You're doing it, you can win this!

“Don't stop Karn!” Kars' voice suddenly shouts in your mind as a telltale tremor runs through your body, the power of your Supreme Instinct fading for a moment. Something Jiren clearly sees, immediately clenching his fists and drawing upon everything he's got to take you down. “Don't lose your tension now, not for a moment! Or your body's gonna give out first! Keep going!”

Without a word you retake your fighting stance, muscles tensing and ready as you raise your left hand. Giving the universal gesture for “Come get some”, something Jiren IMMEDIATELY recognizes as his eyes widen at the taunt.

“You-? Tchhr! HAAAAA!!” he snarls then explodes off the ground, closing the distance and swinging with a wild right, all reckless aggression. Which you punish easily, your body effortlessly performing the same drop throw you first taught Meloka all those years ago. Slamming Jiren to the ground and kicking him in the spine on the bounce, sending him flying in the air. Leaping up after him, driving your right elbow into his back then flipping over, slamming your knee into his face. Sending him crashing back down to the ground. Where he lands and immediately leaps back up after you, eyes filled with mindless rage. And as he attacks you defend, smirking as you see he's not had to learn to control his anger when pushed to the limits, unable to control his emotions when tired. As he relentlessly attacks, you meet his every blow, not letting anything through, blocking or evading his strikes and returning just as many. Jiren either taking them head-on or blocking them.

After maybe twenty seconds of falling, of throwing a thousand strikes a second Jiren finally wins the aerial clash. Not with a definitive hit, as you block the strike. But the force still sends you flying back to the ground, causing you both to disengage. But he's not done, as with a grunt Jiren tries that same rapid-fire attack, trying to overwhelm you with shock waves as he tried to beat Chaya. But you're not your daughter, teleporting behind him with a thought before the first hit can land. Landing a powerful, painful knee strike to his lower back, then following up with the double ax handle overhead to his head.

“HAAAAA!” you shout, slamming him down with everything you've got. Again feeling your power flicker the moment after your attack lands, your time in this form nearing its end. However, you can't quit now, not yet. You have to finish this. But, as you fall to the ground, once more Jiren fires a powerful barrage of blasts, which all start detonating around you. Your body instinctively activating your Barrier, only for Jiren to then lunge at you through the explosions, closing the distance in a blink. Passing through the shield, which only stops energy attacks and not physical objects as he swings.

“HRRAAAAAAAA!!”

Jiren roars, but his punch is sloppy. Letting you easily deflect its unfocused power with your left forearm, retaliating with a right straight of your own to his face. Snapping his head back, only for him to recompose and fire a left. But, again, his power is fading, lacking the focus he had when you first saw him fight. And without that focus his strikes lack that overwhelming power they had before, you again deflecting a punch with your forearm and retaliating with another straight, this time a 1-2 of left and right straights. Stunning him, and giving you an opening as he falls back. Throwing your arms wide, gathering your energy, you decide to take the fight out of him here and now.

“It's over.” you say, gathering enough ki in your hands, bringing them both forward as you ready your attack to end this fight. “FINAL FLASH!”

Golden ki explodes from your hands in a torrent, consuming Jiren entirely as your blast aims him towards the edge. Driving him back and down, straight towards the edge and defeat. Only to just clip the edge of the stage, you sensing Jiren holding on even as the stage around him is obliterated. Leaving him on a small, drifting chunk as you end your beam, laid out flat on his back, completely tapped out and gasping for air. You did it, you beat him.

“HRRRAAAAAAA!!” another being roars, and before you can finish Jiren a massive green fist flies at you from your left. Your body, exhausted and barely holding onto your Supreme Instinct power can't dodge in time, taking the massive right straight to the jaw. Getting caught by complete surprise, your vision goes blurry, strength dropping as you feel yourself flying, or falling. Then crashing into something solid, the world spinning around you as from up in the air a massive roar of challenge is issued. But it sounds wrong, as if you're hearing it through water, or at the end of a long tunnel. You recognize this feeling, you're moments away from passing out. If you just lay here, you'll be out. But you're not just going to quit, not now. Not yet.

However, before any of your allies can reach you, a familiar blue slime suddenly stretches up from the ground, towering over you.

“Well well, what do we have here? Looks like I've got my chance to get back in this tournament handed to me on a silver platter. Now, hold still.”

Hulk got time to power up, and the Hakai he was repeatedly hit with only further fueled his anger and strength, since it couldn't do enough to put him down with his regeneration. As for how, well, originally the Avengers were FORMED to combat the Hulk.
