>>19785760I had previously been running 1660ti (6gbvram), recently upgraded to a 3060 (12gbvram).
Originally, I was running it on a RX580 (8gbvram), but that was a shitshow to set and comparable if not worse to the 1660ti, but probably easier to set up now.
Running 16gb ram, upgrading shortly to 32.
With the new 3060, I could probably become a low quality video wizard, but I tried for about an hour before I gave up due to laziness.
Bought the original rig off the facebook marketplace for 300-400$, and now that I think about it, probably put another 500$ into it (300$ for the 3060, 100$ for the 1660, and 100$ for the new ram)
CPU is a Xeon CPU E5-1620.
The new GPU was steep, but gen times have been legit halved if not thirded, and I could do more quality if I cared.
