I don't touch comfy or do my own workflows at all. It's all inpainting (and sometimes out) with the SD plugin for Krita. Various models, probably most often Realdream Pony 13 these days. I'm not using Loras most of the time; the most frequent ones I do throw in would be Joschek's Pony loras for specific bondage stuff, and a misnamed SD1.5 cumshot lora at low strength for those kinds of pics.
Occasionally I also use regular-flavor image editing, most often when I throw a transparency layer on the gen and paint into that to bring back specific areas of the original. I also do HSV adjustment filters to nudge weird colors in the gen back towards the original pic areas they're supposed to blend with.

With this super artefacty donor pic I chucked a Gaussian blur filter over the whole image to sludge out the weird raster effect, then used the Unblur layer mode in the AI plugin to invent some new details to replace what was just lost.
So in summary, mostly just generating a lot of stuff (with different models to see what they do) and picking what works, inpainting to fix details, sometimes a bit of regular image editing. Playing around with stuff until an interesting idea suggests itself, then experimenting some more until it looks good.
