Not even saying it as a gotcha but how strong is the evidence for the extreme male brain theory.
I honestly think women don't like dudes who indeed can't adapt to different settings like you said and who have a tendency to hyperfocus. Women want attention and they can't get it from a dude who keeps tracks of train schedules.

Autists have abnormal amygdala activity. The fight or flight function of the amygdala is overly active in autists while the emotional processing and facial recognition functions of the amygdala are under-active in autists. Women value social cohesion, domestication, and dominance in a group setting. Autists are feral and incapable of the self-domestication required of women.

I'm skeptical of the extreme male brain theory because of how many autistic men I've seen troon out. Autistic men are either extremely STEM/humanities-brained (trains, mechs, the Roman empire, classical literature etc) or are more sensitive and effeminate than the average male from my experience.
