There are a few things you can do from my estimation. You can find "your hero". The person you want to be who will save you from yourself. A picture of yourself you find inspiring. They don't have to be practical. And chase that with all your heart and strength.
You can look for different styles that are practical and grow into that. First you'd have to let go every old notion of what you found attractive. Kill yourself and be reborn basically. Fresh start. All the opportunities in the world.
Or you can go Buddhist mode full detatchment, like I'm trying to do. The material world is irrelevant. I am an observer. Emotions, dreams, expectations and people pass right through me. They are but clouds and I am the sky.
