you can change your settings so that users can only see that a private user viewed their profile and they won't be able to see who you are

That's also why I only use a fake profile on linkedin
Some chick(?) on the 4chin dating app sent me a link to her linkedin page
I already knew she was catfishing, but I was drunk and clicked on it... so when she saw who looked at her page, it was from my fake profile lol
It was only when I sobered up that I realized she was trying to see my real identity and cancel me for being a 4channer
