roughly 4 years, and it's ending because my family is pressuring really hard for me to get a job
I don't even think I'm able to work enough for it to be worth it

I already have neetbux and have to give like 40% of it to my family
the 2 main issues are that the money I get isn't enough to live on my own, and my mom is in denial of my disability (diagnosed schizo) so she'll force me to work no matter what

I don't have any plans, I don't really have any other options
all I can do is try to get a full time job and see if I'm able to hold one (very unlikely)

Maybe your family will loosen up if they see that you're really trying, regardless of the outcome. Best of luck

my mom is the kind of person who believes a lack of results means I haven't tried at all, so I don't hold my breath
at best she'll pester me until I find something

Stay strong, anon. It's not the worst thing in the world. Don't have to take it too seriously.

meds are okay at preventing hallucinations and psychosis but that's only one part of the illness, you still have to deal with negative and cognitive symptoms (and sometimes you also have to deal with the meds side effects as well)

Get a job at Arby's or Hardee's. Nobody eats that shit, so it's easy hours for monkey work. Just don't try to become a manager. Ask if they're fine with airpods cause music makes shifts go by real quick. Cashier role would be the easiest, but if you don't like talking to people, say this after your hired, either say you're bad with numbers or you have anxiety when you speak in public, so they don't put you on cashier. If you like making sandwiches, shit is easy they'll just have you do that. Work smarter anon, you don't wanna work, but that lifestyle isn't being supported by your environment, then do the bare minimum.

Check the number of hours for disability, dont go over them, so I'd say part time.

F. You're fucked if you can't afford to live separately and they refuse to acknowledge your disability (but still take your fucking 'bux).
Unless you get a local P/T job where you could save enough to rent your own place, then return to based NEETdom.

Yeah, you'll be back soon. Pressure doesn't work on neets. Your boss will hate you from day 1 and get you fired after a month. It happened to me.
>>81479900
You even have neetbux, dude. Trust me, a wagie's salary isn't worth it. You'll make a bit more money, but the job will be hell.

That really sucks anon I hope things get better. I'm no expert on these matters, but it seems odd that you have to give a portion of your benefit to your parents. If you are an adult you should have 100% control of your own finances. I would look into the legalities of this & see if you can't wrestle control back.

Right. I totally misunderstood. In that case, can you find a way to live independently of them? what about share accomodation? Anyone you really trust? Or maybe you can get your own place. My brother here in Sydney was getting a housing commission flat with subsidized rent.
