You not desiring means you are not attached to anything enough for desire to rise
Why are you lacking in attachments?
Only you can answer that, but if I had to guess blindly, I'd wager that it's protective. You avoid getting attached so you won't be hurt by loss (this still means you're attached to avoiding pain/loss)
When did this lack of attachment start, do you remember?
