Life like that isn't expensive, but you can forget about basic modern necessities
>ordering stuff takes at least 3 days
>no shops open 24h, the only local shop is open 10am-3pm, is overpriced and has barely any selection
>have kids? they will drive 1h to school, and will have to live in a city's school dormitory when they start high school because there's nothing nearby
>medical emergency? the ambulance may come in an a hour. a stroke that in a city is a 3-day scare and medical tests turns into a lifetime partial paralysis
>all renovations are more expensive because workers have to come from far away. Companies in demand won't bother, leaving you will lower quality

People larp about this being good life but revealed preferences are a direct opposite. Everyone young runs away from small villages to large cities.

Looks like a great location to rent an airbnb in tho

Of course I am, otherwise I'd be stuck with a whinging loser like you.
On another note, I'm talking to this smoking hot girl from California and she wants to drive all the way across the country to see me, what's up with that???

how do you feel about suburbs?
they have some of the comfy cozy but also accessibility
some of them anyway

can't stand cities personally. they're okay to visit sometimes but I get burned out after a few days

I live in a decent sized city in europoor and any web order takes at least 3 weeks. If it was just 3 days I might order shit more often.

Or just live literally anywhere that borders lake Geneva and have the best of both worlds.

>Life like that isn't expensive, but you can forget about basic modern necessities
it's either that or there are villages that provide those because they're actually pretty close to a bigger city but then stuff gets incredibly expensive

Interesting that you're complaining about that not the fact that most of the village kids start drinking heavily at the ripe age of 10-12 because they got nothing better to do

Honestly? I am
Only thing missing is a dog, gonna get one this year though.
A woman in my life and a family, of course. But I doubt I'll ever find one lol, and thats Ok.

But for me as a single adult man, its good.
On a material level I have plenty of things. My own house, a car, nice tech, a beautiful kitchen and a homegym.
Professionally I have a stable and secure job which makes me decent money and I can work from home 100%.
Spiritually I'm finding my way to God and I feel better about everything from within. So the suffering of existence is lessened.

All next day delivery where I lived in the countryside.
Much, much longer in shittier europe countries, yeah.
>>81498190
Except for no shops open 24/7, none of those things were true where I grew up. Europe, more than one hour from the next actual city.

Also, by the age of 5, kids usually visit a type of preschool, in my case 1.5km(1mile) away from home. We would eat lunch at home, then walk back, so 6km (4miles) walking a day with just that.
Perfectly normal.

Sorry, I'm a bit distracted. We would walk all that alone of course.
