Uneasiness and discomfort.
Long ago when I still was "normal" boy and did some hooliganism with street boys I lost shoes several times been ankles deep in mud. Recovering them wasn't easy. Since them I have psychological discomfort of wearing lose shoes. I wear only good fit well laced sneakers and boots that wouldn't come off from my feet (though I don't plow mud anymore).
