because people have figured out how to train AIs to copy specific artist's styles, so they can get an AI to do what they'd normally have to pay obscene commission fees for.
mind you, i'm not sure why artists haven't started training local AIs on their own work, so they can quickly shart out cheap commissions with a hybrid workload to minimize the issues AI causes.

AI can only make copy paste unoriginal shit, besides it's not going to be cheap for long, as all businesses do, they'll raise their prices, take away features from the free version (if it's there) and once that's exhausted, make the paid version shittier and add a new more expensive version that worked like how the original did a few years ago.
I'm sure it will get to a point where you can either fork over money for let's say a 100 prompts and try your luck in having it generate something you're going for or comission an artist to draw something you're actually envisioning and having the end result guaranteed to be what you're looking for.
It sucks for artists sure, but you can't wish away this technology, it'll be developed no matter what happens, best you can do is adapt.

Most people are willing to overlook the minor fuckups with porn, standards are generally lower on that front; just look at all the human porn artists who get away with MS-paint tier art quality. And I've seen a few AIs that are very good at copying specific artists; you can still tell they're AI, granted, but they don't look like complete shit.

Also artists aren't perfect themselves.
Everyone who's commissioned someone has at least one case of the artist getting "depressed" and putting their prepaid commission on hold for 6+ months.

Too many artist and h-games lean towards inhumanly huge proportions both to avoid retarded censorship bullshit of retards claiming every drawing of a women who isn't obese or clownishly huge is a child, and because mediocre drawings of properly proportioned women don't stand out as much as slop with absurd proportions.

This ESPCIALLY pisses me of in harem games where all the options basically have the same over exagerated body type.
Like god damn it, the whole appeal of a harem game is variety but you are too afraid of getting flagged on steam to include a skinny bitch or dancer build to balance out the roster.
I don't even dislike the body type, but I get tired of it being the default/main/only options nowadays.
