i am objectively ugly, 3/10. almost 33 and never had a woman flirt with me or have a full conversation with me. i have a longer philtrum and a huge ass midface. giant nose too. i also have ugly eyes that don't fit my face and make me look retarded. my only saving grace is good skin and hair genetics but they're wasted.

i know it sounds cliche but personality and how you present yourself genuinely matters more for people who arent super models IE you and me. you arent always going to gel with someone online or offline, and thats ok, but as easy as it is to go "the common denominator is me, therefore it must be something about me", thats a quick way to fall down a hole of Self-deprecation that will likely have a bigger impact on you finding someone than how you look.

I know this is true, but being average/below average and being socially stunted makes me as undesirable as someone who is a monstrous freak so what does it matter?

you have to learn to weaponize your low self esteem. going from "why should i bother talking to her, shes never going to like me" to "shes probably not going to like me anyway so what do i have to lose by talking to this person ill probably never see again and who likely wont remember me" is how i personally have rationalized it. while i havent become some super confident chad its definitely helped with overthinking every interaction i have with women in general.

well like i said its help with how i view interactions with women and made me a little more confident in not masking when i talk to them, but if it were that easy i probably wouldnt be 25 and still unable to look women in the eye most of the time. small progress is still progress compared to doing nothing about it
