I think you're mostly right, but women care a lot about fun in the relationship, and the issue with this is that fun can take a lot of money. It really seems as though women have smaller sex drives in general and don't value sex to the same extent as men. (For one, it's super rare for women to pay for sex, and two, there are tons of chads who fuck below-average-looking women just because they're horny at the moment and don't want to wait for stacy. You really don't see this behavior from women with men. You really don't see women complaining about not getting dick.) If you're a low-income man with zero inheritance, you're going to be driving around a relatively ugly 15 to 25-year-old shitbox, and you're not going to be able to afford any nice vacations or the like. I do have OCD, but I'd feel pretty insecure driving around a shitbox while the girl is driving around a new car, and she might sense this lack of confidence / self esteem and be less attracted to me because of it.

I speculate that women can actually get at least somewhat turned off, and it might depend on the individual woman, by relative poverty in men. I did have an 8/10+ girl crushing on me in high school, along with a few other girls. The other boys thought she was really hot and were impressed that she was into me. I really should've asked her out. I was only in high school for two years, freshman and sophomore year. This was high school, though, I've been told that by the time women are in their mid 20s, they're more difficult to get. I believe I might have somewhere around an 8/10 face from my high school experience. I'm actually jacked and have been on steroids for the past 10 months (I'm careful about things like androgenic balding.), but I still have around 60 to 70 pounds of fat to lose before I'll be lean. Good looks typically comes with good mental health. Psychiatrists are well aware of this fact. (If you exercise and take care of your hygiene, you will look more attractive. Duh.) The thing is, this isn't always the case. There are tons of people who are completely nuts while simultaneously having good looks. You could regularly exercise and take good care of your health and hygiene, but be unable to work a ton of jobs due to some mental illness, and this will naturally include a ton of high paying jobs. One of the reasons I've been inspired to start all these threads is because I personally view myself as a guy with decent genes for good looks (although I'm still obese at the moment), but I haven't really been able to get any gainful employment due to the specific type of insomnia I get from OCD. (I can't maintain a job that requires me to be on any sort of schedule.)

Tons of people won't even acknowledge you unless you're rich, at least politicians, and I know this from personal experience. They don't care how impressive of a person you are, all that matters to them is your money. Also, normies tend to be very impressed by money. You can be a pro athlete outside of the sports that pay a lot of money, like an elite powerlifter, and most people would be more impressed by the random person who makes $150,000 per year. There's a reason why people refer to one's wealth as one's worth. It's a cultural and philosophical thing. How much money you have is how much you're worth. Some people worship money; it's their hobby and passion to make money. If you're doing something that isn't going to make you money, you're wasting your time in their minds. My elementary school friend's father has this philosophy.
