I am completely incapable of enjoying a moment if I know I have to do something unpleasant in the near future (for instance, enjoying the end of the day when I know I'll have more work tomorrow).

How can I solve this? No amount of rationalization seems to do it. Any tips?

You gotta just accept where your at. The future is scary, buts it's not promised and it's constantly changing, so just realize in the present your blessed cause your still alive.

hard question. sometimes what helps is to try to attach to the present activity as firmly as possible, esp. if you can find something lovable about it. say, doing something to the best of your ability just to see how good it can be done under present constraints.
