How do I get a life objective as a 30 year old NEET? My previous objective was to look like a teenage female but I gave up on it because it was too escapist. But now I have nothing. I don't know what to make my next objective. I guess I like philosophy and physics but I'm too nihilistic when it comes to philosophy having any meaning and studying physics would take too long and I'm unlikely to contribute anything. I just don't see what a 30 year old NEET could acquire as an objective. I should go back to trying to look like a teenage gurl but I'm even getting tired of that. It seems like I need to experience real life in some way. I've never had a girlfriend and haven't had a friend in more than 15 years. Maybe my brain is in a terminal state of depression and I should consult a psychiatrist to work things out. It seems hard to get out of such a bad situation on your own.

You should try to do volunteering work to reconnect with humanity.

If you are in a rough state then you should definitely try it out. If nothing else it will give you a source of human connection and possibly seeing if anything in your life can be fixed.
As for everything else. You are 30 years old. most of modern western society will view anything over the age of 28 as a dinosaur but you still have time in your life to do things. If you want to study physics then study physics. Nothing is stopping you. Maybe even work up to a PHD. that's a life goal that you can focus on. and it will be something to try at least. see if you really want to do something like that. And have other goals as well. if you wanna look like a teenage gurl. do it. that's another goal you can try for. same with anything else. maybe set a fitness goal as well. improve your physical health and your mental health in one go. something like a 1/2/3/4 or running a 10k. whatever you want.
As for your social life. do volunteer work. maybe get a part time job. if you don't want a job then become a full time college student to get your physics education and PHD. socialize, talk, join discord servers if you want to. set a goal of 5 friends.
You're only 30 years old. you still have time to do things. you just have to go out and do them. set a goal and work to achieve it. We believe in you anon.

Ty. I got addicted to vidya for like a month so it kinda messed me up again. Main issue is I never try new things I'm stuck in a cycle. I do the exact same thing and even the same threads every day lmao.
