Us old farts came from a world where there was no internet, where you learned to socialize face to face. Where there were consequences for being too earnest or too rude.

The people you see now learned to socialize online where any anonymous asshole can break you down, insult you, and be utterly honest with everything he says at all times.

On top of that, there's a subsection of people that just come here to be completely negative since social media has shut down any kind of negativity, forcing them to unleash it all here.

And frankly, a lot of the new users of 4chan are just plain stupid. Maybe naturally low IQ, maybe ignorant, but they aren't worth talking to most of the time. They have no background, no education, and are completely witless and humorless. Everything they know comes from youtube or memes. They're like half-people. I don't know. It's not good.
