It's probably well over that due to all the self-dx cases using it as a "get out of jail free card" in school. Literally multiple generations' worth of graduating classes can name at least 1 low grade sociopath that tried just that.

Got mad? I've met like 10 autistic dudes in my life and they'll had either old parents or mentally ill parents. My theory is that the rates are "low" because that's where mild autism begins. I'm also autistic and undiagnosed, for example. If I had a son he would probably get even worse genes, the difference is that people like me in the past wouldn't have known they had this condition, it was just mistaken for being a weirdo.
