I bought this game called Erenshor and it is exactly the thing I have been looking for. It's like a single player Everquest, stylized like an MMO but every other place is actually an NPC that you can invite to your party and they even send text messages in the chat. It's clear they took all possible inspiration from Everquest since it has stuff like having to push a button to hail characters to talk to them, being able to click the highlighted text in a chat with the character to ask them about that subject, the fact that the chat with the character appears in the chat box, the inventory screen, the general UI feel, everything is extremely Everquest feeling. If you like MMOs like I do it's a lot of fun.
