>everybody you are going to ask will have issue with attention, ADHD is not special.
Is this true?

Do they also feel fatigued and ill when they're understimulated?

There's a literal smile in the post, but maybe you're too autistic to realize.

>everybody has issues with food therefore there are no overweight and underweight people
do you see the logical fallacy here?
The way it works is that there is a range of normal human temperament and behaviours, and you are sick if you're outside that range. Basically, of all the issues that plague each human, one of them plagues you especially strongly

desu he could have seen it as an passive aggressive reply. Being mistrusting here is valid i think, even if it was clearly not necessary here.

How do i respond to somebody saying it despite the logical fallacy without sounding mad?

For it to be ADHD it basically just has to be really severe.
Like how everyone gets anxious, but severe anxiety is considered a disorder.

They do not know how badly it is with ADHD. The standard attention issues are nothing in comparison. People can tell when I'm not on my medication or when it is wearing off. I'll literally walk into the kitchen to get something that is in my office. I will completely forget my keys even though I put them in the same spot every time. I cannot sit down and actually read a book because my brain will read 6 paragraphs a minute, and then wonder what the fuck I just read. This is literally my normal. I'm glad I'm on meds. It has been a life changer.

Care to explain what you got and how the experience is?
Im getting them too in a little over a week but i have been hearing contradictory statements over what it actually is, even from my doctor.

Sure. I'm on Vyvanse 30mg. Whst contradictory statements have you been getting? My positives far outweigh the few side effects I get.

> Whst contradictory statements have you been getting?
Im mainly confused about Ritalin supposedly making you feel more amped up but at the same time concentrate better. For me that doesn't make sense as in my experience im either amped up or concentrated but never at the same time. Then there is the sleep thing. Having more energy can make sleep worse he said but my issue is that im too distracted from sleep kinda so it sounds like it would be the opposite.

>My positives far outweigh the few side effects I get.
What are the positives and side effects for you?

>amped up
It may, but stimulants will typically level things down for you. It's a paradoxial effect. People think it's just "legal speed" which it isn't with people with ADHD. If it brings you down, that's a definite sign that you have ADHD. If not, it doesn't exactly mean you don't have ADHD. Everyone reacts to different medications. What type do you have (inattentive, hyperactive, both?)

I was on Concerta 54mg but I had little effect. It still worked but it was so minimal. That was when I was switched. My psych suggested I get a genetic test done, and it turns out I had a gene which makes me metabolise it poorly. Vyvanse, according to it, is the perfect med.

The positives? Everything! Refer back to my original post. It feels great to not to experience it all the time. I'm on a low dose and I fon't take it unless I need to accomplish a task I need to focus on, do tolerance won't build up as fast.

Negatives? Lol, sleep is common. I get tired on it (another thing tgst confirms thst it's ADHD!) But my psych has me take a sleep med stack. That stack is Vistaril 50mg, Melatonin 5mg and 400mg of magnesium glycinate. Drink it diwn with Chamomile tea. It works decently for me. I do have Ambien 5mg for rare use if say I haven't slept well in two days.

The other? It does curb my appetite significantly. I feel fuller on less. So, I have lost weight.

>What type do you have (inattentive, hyperactive, both?)
This never was a topic while we discussed the test results. And how i get it the older you get the more the lines blur but sorta both i think. I can doze off but i can also just get so much energy i walk around in my apartment for an hour.
>Lol, sleep is common. I get tired on it
Thats also how i imagine it when you feel mellow after the meds.
>But my psych has me take a sleep med stack
Mine told me that the happiness of finally being able to do stuff could offset potential sleep inhibiting effects. I feel so too desu. Being more happy leads to better sleep right?
>It does curb my appetite significantly
Any advice against this? Im already too thin so i don't want anything pushing me over the edge.

Im still slightly around two weeks away from starting as they need to check my heart, blood, and weight first and stuff like that but then I'll see for myself how it goes. Despite having the chance i never took anything like this before.
