Do you guys ever feel sad when you finish a game? I finished lies of p and ita dlc today. It was an awesome game and i enjoyed playing it a lot but now its over and i just feel empty.

I feel this too anon. I'm only happy when I'm hyperfixating on something and its always depressing when that temporary well of happiness dries up. I hope you find another game soon

I mostly play boomer shooters so when the game is over I turn the difficulty up and restart it

yes anytime i finish an anime, book, movie or game or any piece of media. i tend to immerse myself while watching/consuming and become part of the imaginary world of that fiction, i internalize the world and its fantasy becomes part of me on the inside. after its over i become sad and numb, but alas all stories must come to an end even our lives.

Im thinking about jumping right into new game + but at the same time im thinking maybe i should let the experience settle in before i go for another round if that makes sense.

I rarely play games but when i do i only play 90s and 2000s shooters and they dont have a story so no.

for some weird reason i did feel bad after playing lufe is strange and not the first one but the expansion i dont know why the story was shit and there was barely any "game" in any of them just walking but i still felt bad for the characters.

I feel sad that I can never replay the games I love for the first time again. But I don't really feel sad that a game is over when I finish it.

A few games make me tear up when I beat them because I am in awe at how good they are and how much I love them. Resident Evil 7 and RE2 Remake have this effect on me. It probably helps that they both have fantastic endings/credit sequences.
