No matter how lonely or miserable my life gets I cannot help but be grateful to have been born into this world. We're basically fleshy computers built to shunt energy from one molecule to another in the most efficient way possible and yet as an accidental byproduct of that we can see, hear, taste, smell, feel, we can experience joy and excitement and feel wonder at beautiful things. I can have the shittiest day and then go to the grocery store and get a thing of strawberries and they're delicious, that's a fucking miracle to me. I think there is so much goodness to be experienced in this world and I want as many people to be born into it so they can all experience it too.

Financial stability, emotional maturity, mutual consent, and thorough planning should be the bare minimum prerequisites for parenthood. A good childhood in stable environment definitely go a long way, especially in early adulthood. Though as a poor working man, my pragmatism has essentially castrated me. Idk.
