but op people really like all 4 of those shows they're really popular for having like some more depth and long form plot lines and continuity than cartoons used to, also people like gumball for being experimental and using multiple different art styles

I grew up with Steven Universe, adventure time, gravity falls, and gumball. It was the last great era of western animation before streaming ruined it. Man the cookie cat episode was the shit. Adventure time is peak. Gravity falls had niggas going crazy back in 3rd grade circa 2015! Gumball was mid af, but I remember the first episode with the dvd late fee. Dang, salute 2006 niggas, we turning 19 this year :).
