Pretty hard to do unless you have someone to tell you when you're being unlikable. The best solution I found is to list things you find unlikable in other people or things that people tend to complain about in other people and then try to avoid doing those things yourself.

What are you doing with your face when you talk to people? Are you putting on a smiling face? Are you activating your face muscles beyond the talking ones? Or do you remain completely neutral and stone faced? If you don't look like you're enjoying the interaction and look like you're being bothered, then people won't want to approach you again.
You also don't have to be quick, that's how you become condescending. You have to put thought into your responses. If you don't know something, then say you don't know and need to think about it some more.
