The problem with most religious people is that they don't actually believe in anything except for authority and power. They don't worship god or believe in Jesus. To them religion is a tool for authority and power.

So it really doesn't matter if you catch them in hypocrisy or quote scripter. They are shameless and clueless, most couldn't even name their favourite verse, or if they could they memorized a handful in case they were ever asked, but they never learned it through true appreciation of the faith.
