>finally decide to do something about my dandruff/psoriasis/scalp issues which have plagued me for years
>start using Denorex
>it only makes those things ten times worse
>immediately notice significant hair loss, especially after washing my hair
>always had dry hair but now it has become significantly dry and thin
>pretty sure I developed a salicylic intolerance from using this stuff
>notice certain foods make my intestines feel weird and there's something going on in my kidney area
>find out that most of the foods I eat and products I use contain salicylic acid so now I have to cut back and look for products without salicylic acid, which had proven to be difficult

I literally only used the shampoo TWICE back in March and I'm still experiencing these issues

Have you ever used Nizoral? It helped me a lot since I used to have a huge dandruff problem. I still get some but it's a lot less than usual.

it's the Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS).
it's a powerful degreaser. they use it to clean driveways and shit. yeah, it's in most shampoos and body washes.
avoid it

I've been using Cleure shampoo and haven't noticed any weird side effects. My dandruff has also gone down, which is good, but I'm still losing hair at a rapid rate and I don't think my stomach issues will be going away anytime soon.

This experience has honestly made me a bit skeptical of most shampoos.

Wanted to try Nizoral but I went with Denorex instead, which may have been a mistake.

Have you been to the doctors? The fact that you're still experiencing side effects in June / July is kind of insane.

I would like to make an appointment soon, although I'm not insured. I'm also a bit anxious about going to doctors, especially not knowing severity of what I'm dealing with.

I used thydroidium with lotion for psoriasis, biotin shampoo with argan oil conditioner and LLLT hat for hair growth.

Have you considered consulting a professional?

maybe a different shampoo would help. are your showers very hot? I found that taking cooler showers helped my scalp way more when I started having similar problems

Where do chronic dandruff and scalp issues come from anyway?

>having to restrict yourself from eating all sorts of food just because you wanted to fix some dandruff

You need to use ketoconozole shampoo. Doesn't matter the brand, salicylic acid will worsen it.

If youre a guy and losing hair, consider dutasteride, and if you're a woman wash your hair twice a week but keep on the moisturiser
