they do but you literally have to actually be braindead and willingly let the virus run on your system. like you have to click multiple things and let various shit run on your computer with your consent. zero click exploits are extremely rare, especially if you use an up to date browser and use an ad blocker. if you have a brain it's basically impossible to get infected nowadays.

Phishing. There was a link and a text saying "come play this multiplayer web game with anons" and then the website downloaded files into the pc. Hadn't been through an imageboard I wouldn't have been infected with this shit. The problem is that the malware seems to be quite good.
