It makes sense, if you leave the women you set yourself up to be conquered by a third party when you inevitably invite immigrant men, making the war useless. You also give women a chance to defend themselves in case a foreign army invades. You dont even have to be a progressive to think this is a good thing.
This is even more so the case for smaller countries like denmark.

Military track driving can be cozy job during peace time or on quite parts of frontline. But in real win or lose military struggle truck driving is no less intense then fighting. You with your co driver would be driving truck non stop back and forth 24/7 with 12 hours shifts non stop. Can grills can stomach such tempo for week? Month?
Cramming vehicle maintenance and repair in between. Girls cant even lift military truck wheel for replacement, what are they gonna do? just sit on their asses and wait till men bail them up while front line collapses because they didn't bring them ammo?
