Modern life is completely reducible to being social and making people like you. Literally, nothing else is important anymore. Being good at doing things has become meaningless and utterly unrewarding because, ironically, autistics did too much of a good job and made themselves immediately obsolete with machines. Of course, in 100 years everything will completely fall apart and we already see the competency crisis but it doesn't matter because normals live in one minute to the next.
