Sure, if I put in the effort and lowered my standards I probably could get a girlfriend but then what? I'm gonna be working all day trying to make money, looksmax, and go through a bunch of rejections just to get a chance at a normie relationship. Not even anything special. Normies aren't exactly radiating happiness or something due to their relationships. Why put in the effort then? Its not a question of it being possible in theory, its probably possible for many incels to get a relationship if they really did slave away at that one task long enough, but its just not worth the effort and if its not worth it then it may aswell be impossible because there's just no reason to do it.

it's a statistics game. you should put the effort in either way, and avoid annoying normal faggot women, on the offchance that you might actually meet someone worth loving. It's better to be ready to attract someone than not.
Also, it's really not that much work. It's tough and it can be grueling, but how hard is it really to work out 3 times a week and not over/undereat? You don't have to be a physical phenom to attract women. A lot of the time you don't even really have to be in shape, but if you are around 20% body fat and have a little bit of muscle that will be enough for the majority of women.
As far as making money though you should do that just so that you can enjoy all of the things you want to enjoy and not have so many limits on your life.

Of course you don't think they radiate happiness, everyone is different. Put effort into what makes you happy.
