I trusted someone I shouldn't have trusted. Believed false rape accusations that led to me being isolated from my friends. Got made fun of by the supposed victim and the perpetrator for trying to find out the truth. Got gaslit about how that actually makes perfect sense for a victim to do and my noticing it makes no sense is actually the triggering event, not getting raped. Lent money to this person to prevent them from prostituting themselves because they couldn't make rent. When I asked for a payment plan to get it back it was framed as manipulation even though they were months behind on repayment already. Long story short I made the mistake of believing women.
