thought it was cool how each episode was one take, haven't looked into if they really did it like that but the effect works well regardless
the kid explaining "emoji code" was kinda cringe, but I think it gets across the feeling a lot of parents nowadays have about how impenetrable their kid's online life is
I thought the episode with the therapist was kinda stupid, idk what methodology she was using but it clearly wasn't well-chosen.
The main kid's acting was pretty damn good as well. At times it reminded me of how I was when I was 14-15, I would use irony and jokes to cover an anger that I didn't want to acknowledge.
Overall well made, some exaggerations but it gets across the feeling of being a mentally unwell kid in the UK - barebones school support, apathetic and exhausted teachers, classmates getting involved in drugs, sex, violence way too young while their parents are oblivious, until something goes wrong and the system suddenly jumps into action around you
