And abstract thinking isn't even unique to us as there are other animals who can use tools, recognize themselves in mirrors or instead of running after you, run the opposite side to catch you around house during play. It's degree of development of abstract thinking that stands out, just like there are certain species that have outstanding strength, durability, speed or poison. But besides those outliers, we operate on the same principles that stem from common ancestors. As a female you get in heat, just like cats or dogs or any other mammals, making you want to breed. As a male I inoluntarily get erections whenever I see woman in sexual context, and my brain is flooded with intrusive breeding thoughts. Just like pups curl together or they like being pat, we also enjoy some form of touch. It's general mammal thing. Our free will is merely simplification for complex algorythm in our brain, customized by our genes and adaptation to environment science can't map out at this point. It's useful simplification because it creates idea of intent and thus allows us to remove criminals from society without remorse, but still, it is just simplification and not accurate representation of reality.
You can't run away from this, you can't run away from nature because you are part of the nature. Your animal instincts are your actual wants so you can either keep deluding yourself and deny it, or allow nature to do its work and navigate through life in a way that aligns you with nature without too many risks, meaning for example making family with man you can cooperate with to make sure you won't become single mother.
