I hope it doesn't rot away for that long. Anyway, YouTube kino thread? Here's one that always makes me laugh, and also feel a little, because of how old it is >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dKvY_21Onk

youtube used to be a social media website and i guess it still is, but social media meant something different back then. it was actually social, like random people would interact with each other, now youtube is a platform for content creators to make money from, it's basically a job.
this video is nostalgic even though i've never seen it before. those were better days.

Most certainly not. The one thing I've learned about the internet is that it is ephemeral. Nothing lasts. Almost every website from 2003 is gone. The internet is not forever.

These days, it's about 6 months (if lucky). And not in the sense that nobody cares, but completely unavailable

dude i've been saying this for years.
there's so much new content drowning out all the old shit and old websites shutting down. the only things that are forever from the internet is what people bother to archive, everything else just goes away and gets forgotten.

In a hundred years there won't be an internet. You will be lucky to even have running water. Technology does not exist in planet of the apes.
