There are two points considered "bad" for incest.
1) Even when in relationships with no children produced or possible (fags), the risk of a "breakup" looms. A bad romantic/sexual breakup between family ruins the most important social bond / safety net you can have. But people seem capable enough of ruining said family bonds for plenty of other retarded reasons like not liking the other person's (lack of) religion, or drug use, or theft, or etc. No one who wants to do it is rebuffed by legislation, it only hurts people who would otherwise be fine left alone.
2) Inbreeding is negligible over one generation, you have higher rates of bad things having a child over 30 as a woman, it only really adds up across generations. This is next to non-existent in western cultures. Pakistanis, for instance, have an inbred culture as well as high rates of birth defects easily sourceable via Britian's NHS and large population of Pakistanis.

Race mixing is the largest and most real risk of mental and health disorders yet it's not only legal but celebrated for (((reasons))).
tl:dr; in the west, incest (right now, with our current culture) is no big deal.
