Bingo. I'm the son of two black sheep from otherwise normal families. Dad was aloof and detached, mom was physically/emotionally abusive. Saw other female family members only a small handful of times in my life, was never close to any of them.

I have dated a lot, I'm not a virgin, but those experiences only made me more misogynistic. The only adults who have consistently said some variation of "man up" to me have all been women I'm in a relationship with - they are the ones who create the "toxic masculinity" they claim to hate so much, while lamenting in public forums that men need to open up more.

All that said, I think women are capable of love... But I think a woman's love can only exist within some type of family structure, not within a romantic relationship. I'm not a shut-in, I have a big boy job and I travel solo a lot, I'm regularly meeting new people, and I haven't ever met a couple who makes me think to myself "Oh, she really loves him!" - I just see men whose personalities and have been suppressed by a person who dislikes who they really are, but who can tolerate an "alternative" version of them. They usually don't like me either, even though I have done nothing but exist near them.
