What is wife-material to you guys?
I'm unironically married to a woman I care about a lot myself, but due to how early in life we got together I didnt really have an idea of "wife" in my mind beyond that I liked being around her. I've been seeing a lot of heated discussion about marriage on several other boards and ive really been wondering what actually qualifies as wife material these days.

Yeah, someone that makes the day to day enjoyable. That's the only way things can be longlasting instead of some exciting spark that later wanes or whatever

I'm absolutely not satisfied with anything about human life, it's a hellhole of larps, copes and psychopathy

Ideally? A good mother. Someone nurturing and affectionate but still able to stand up for herself and the kids if need be. Someone with some mutual interests but enough that's different that we can still show each other things we can consider novel. Someone who will cheer me up when I feel down and who I can take care of when she doesn't feel right. Someone loyal and giving and willing to tell me when I am in the wrong. Someone who appreciates beauty in a way that she can show me how to see things in a new light. Someone with whom I can share the love of God and with in trying to make the world a little better.
