I think one of the core differences between MtF trannies and FtM pooners are that mtfs tent to be malevolent and insidious while ftms tend to just be naive. Male to female trannies know that they can manipulate people into going along with their unhinged fetish based ideology by framing their detractors as evil bigots and cheat their way into skin deep societal acceptance while also probably getting more sexual success than they did pre transition (assuming they were effeminate looking to begin with). pooners, however, usually just want to be accepted without the manipulation or the ulterior sexual motives. They think that they will live the lives of their favourite movie/webcomic/manwha stars but if or when tgey eventually get treated like men, they'll realise they were lied to and that their life is much harder as a pube bearded, norwood 4, 5'3 manlet than it ever was as a foid and either detransition or rope.
