It would be so cool to have a gf who is strong, silly, rebellious, free spirited, protective, empathetic, tomboyish, adventurous, and stands up for what's good and right in the world

But instead most women only want chads, most of the ones who don't are immensely hateful religious fundamentalist suburbanite nimbys, or are extremely negative, timid, passive aggressive, and (even if they aren't conservative at all) hide behind "oh I'm just a girl and everyone hates us and everything (except Chad of course) is dangerous for us" as an excuse to not show any backbone or do anything adventurous ever

I just relate more to Kris than Berdley. His whole thing of wanting to appear the smartest, and being a massive gamer, it's just not really "me". Also it's implied that while he's not actually "the smartest", he's still pretty smart, and I'm just very mediocre. And on the other hand I grew up with very restrictive, protective parents and can relate to the feeling of being controlled by other people, as well as really wanting freedom. As well as growing up in a fucked up family that split up. And Kris's stuff of being a kind of weird quiet kid who has been ostracized or bullied before, and having a history of sometimes being antagonistic to others in the past but meaning well and wanting to connect with others and to have someone I can get into shenanigans with

(Also while Suselle and Krusie are my two main ships, I also do ship Berdley but I think he ships better with Kris than Susie frankly)
