I have lost my interest in platformers. It was fun for a while, but I'm not sure if it was ever really my thing. At least gaming and karate helped train my reflexes.

Hollow Knight was great.
Ori annoyed me. It felt sticky and overproduced. Basically a gay console feeling. So I refunded it.
Blasphemous was janky so I refunded it. Might give it another go if I get bored.

Blasphemous (and 2) are good. Didn't like the others as much. I also liked Death's Gambit (the redone Afterlife version) which is kind of similar in a lot of ways.

Hollow knight is 10/10, blind forest is pretty mid, and i havent played blasphemous yet but might get it in the steam sale since its at a 90% discount

Didn't play.
Hollow Knight
Got tedious, and the "learn enemy telegraph, memorize timing" thing was really annoying. Bad gameplay. Wouldn't recommend it.

Fun, beautiful music, great setting. The sequel was also good but definitely not as good, felt like it copied Hollow Knight's bad gameplay somewhat.

When it comes to these types of games it is mainly about the aesthetics since 2d platformers are very limited in what can be done with them
Blasphemous has to be my top pick since it has the best aesthetic
