If it has been that way for awhile now then it might just be a matured hairline and youre fine, only you can judge that tho. id keep an eye on it regardless because its easy to cope about hairloss until its too late and advanced to a bad point

Just look at your male ancestor's hairlines and you'll know if you need to take finasteride or minoxidil or whatever else people use.
Some people slightly recede and stop there while others will lose most of their hair, so it's really just a genetic thing.

Yeah idk it is hard to judge that. I am really not sure at all. I feel like my hair is a bit thinning out but my hair has been basically always a bit thin.
I just don't want to take a drug that could make me impotent for no reason at all.

i mean, the odds are good that fin/dut dont. its like a 1-3% chance iirc and the symptoms go away after disuse. i personally never had an issue on fin so i feel its worth taking but i understand avoiding it

Yeah I just don't want to go bald. Hair is such an important factor to look young and attractive. But I would have to take it forever once I start.

you can quit whenever you want, theres not any nasty withdrawal symptoms on 5a-inhibs. but ya, if you have to take it you have to take it til youre ok with losing the hair.

for the year or so i was on it before i switched to stronger meds i had no side effects

its all the same drug and same quality regardless of brand. but i was using keeps.com 1mg/d finasteride if that helps

if that makes you feel safer then ya. the web pharmacies have doctors that can prescribe with pics you upload tho, which is what i did

idk op because your pic has been deleted but if all the males are bald in your family youre destined to be an egg. If your maternal line is okay and your paternal is smoked then you got a 50/50 chance.

Me? dads side is fucked, absolutely cooked. Mums side all kept their hair, I faintly remember by great granddad a ww2 vet who had a full head of hair. I'm 24 so Ig well find out, apparently I take features from my granddad on mums side so hopefully i do okay.

it worked for a year and then seemed to stop working, i began noticing more hairs falling out again. i couldnt take the stress it caused and went nuclear

understandable, a derm would be able to look at your follicles and give you a definitive answer about whether youre balding or not and give a good rundown on what to expect with medication. gl!!
