Powerful people have caught on that with ironic memes even the dumbest ideas can be believed (since they are believed ironically). It is time for memers to return to sincerity as a protection mechanism from epistemological trickery. By sincerity I mean at least the approach used by someone like Richard Dawkins: I.e something is either backed by data or not. I.e, you won't follow down the route of your own death just because it's funny or "based".
